Teaser of Battlefield: Bad Company

Teaser of Battlefield: Bad Company

EA and Dice just revealed the first teaser of Battlefield: Bad Company on the 360 Marketplace, and it totally caught us off-guard. It's funny, and the graphic engine seems solid. We can't wait to see more !
Update: 720p version added.

cant wait for this,i think that BF2:MC was one of if not the best online shooter on 360,even to this day, i loved the cars and the team engagement it had with it,
great how everyone ran for cover as the nutter from the other team came flying over in the chopper.
BRING IT ON EA,I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was that rendered in-engine? is it their own proprietary engine too?

Yeah it's all in-engine, a proprietary one call Frostbite.

Real-time greatness, finally the first next-gen Battlefield game.

Kind of shame that they didnt show some scenes from a first person view.

"waitso I can blow up, everythang" hehe, funny how he said "thang" hehe.

Remember were just getting into the second year and we will finally get to see the Xbox 360 pull its weight in graphics and processing power.

Its quite hard to believe this is real-time, unless I am wrong.

Believe.
If thats real-time then, damn it looks good. This is what is good. Graphics like this makes people think its CGI, while its not. Just shows us that the graphics have improved a lot and that 360 is powerful to do all this. Think about 2-3 years from now. I think all games will look like this.

HA HA HA! superb! what a different take.

If this is using the In-game Engine... Surely Killzone CAN look as good as the original cg trailer? because THIS looks amazing!

*edit.... oh it IS in-Engine!!!

In-Engine (pre-rendered) is not In-Game (realtime)?
Commented on 2007-02-28 14:55:29
Wow, that was great on so many levels.

Hint?

I think they've done that very funny, and it looks promising, too.

In-Engine just shows what the engine is capable of. And it looks very powerfull to me. How it translates on the 360 is another story.

Hint?
As in he blew up parts of buildings at the end and he was talking and said we have loads of powerful weapons and blows hole in that house. :)

Have you played the game then BlimBlim your pretty confident in saying thats real time. ?

Sorry, Electronic Arts, but even a new graphics engine wont fix your crappy servers....

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i'd like to see more ambitious VR support (for all platforms), but i can understand why no one (especially 3rd party) aren't gonna take that risk. (20 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth if i'm not mistaken gran turismo and ace combat will only have limited support for VR, as in a separate mode and not full support. Sony also did shut down guerrila cambridge, who worked on PSVR. (22 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i would love a 5-6 hour platformer like the playroom VR game. someone needs to make it. (27 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog what sony need to focus on is good, cheap, shorter experiences. it suits the platform best and doesn't wear itself thin. plus sony have a chance to actually make money on the games. (29 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog it's in gran turismo sport, ace combat and they're making a FPS, they also have 2 studios specifically for VR. what they're making though is anyones guess. (33 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @droezelke: consider sony's expectations for it's lifetime sales are only 3/54 and it's pretty good going. it's outsold the competition (combined) by over double. (34 minutes ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke This seems to me that big budget titles aren't likely in the near future. (43 minutes ago)
