after playing many many hours of L4D. all i have to say about this game, is "meh". :P

i look at the screens..and then i look at the video...then i look at the screens again..

I wasn't a huge fan of the first Dead Rising, but it was definitely more involved than just "brainless killing."

Third video looked great with the pitchfork shotgun. At around the 16sec mark he shoots a guy and it looks like he ragdolls. YES!!! One of the things the first game was sorely missing!

Smart! I like the look of this too. Might have to dig out the first one sometime to see if the memories serve me well.

Indeed the game might be advertised as a brainless zombie killer, but the game has a story, that revolves around solving a mystery.

Zombie games were always about brainless killing. That's what's awesome.

The sheer ridiculousness of Dead Rising 2 makes me interested in it. I mean, come on: a wheelchair with a machine gun attached to it? That's stupidly awesome.

That first video "Kuruma" it started with him grabbing the wheelchair, and then I thought "would be funny as fuck if you could push it into a zombie and have him sit in it as you wheel it about." Then it happened and I laughed. Brilliant!

BTW, what would be nice is if the melee weapons actually lasted longer than they did in the first one. I for one, do not believe that a katana has such a short lifespan!

I loved the first Dead Rising. I beat it every which way, got almost all the achievements. But...

Everything in these videos looks so raw and unfinished. Especially the animations.

The gameplay videos up on GameTrailers looks much better than this, less jerky animations. This must be from an old build :S

yeah these videos really dont do it justice.. the GT ones look alot better. Really looking forward to this.. dead rising was an awesome game.

I want multiplayer in this - i think they could easily get round that by basing the online on the "game show" segments. Have 4 players on bikes trying to get the highest kill score. Or even better.. competeing in the human hamster wheels
