That being said, the games have charm out the ass and probably the funniest game series I've played. Quark is too damn funny!
No doubt a great rental, but I don't see this being worth a purchase for what i personally want out of a game in this genre. Great graphics btw.
As a platformer it has never ascended the same heights it scales as a shooter but from what I have seen this one has some interesting new platforming mechanics and the space exloration sidequests looks pretty cool as well.
Definite buy for me at some point although annoyingly it comes out within days of MW2 over in Europe, I can only afford one of them at this point...I may end up actually flipping a coin to decide.
Dont think the hardcore shooting element should be completely eliminated ether just contained points, where you can take on some set challenges. That should keep anyone whos liked that aspect of ratchet in the past happy.
