i heard it's like an MMO TF2. i'll be getting the pc version, it looks/sounds promising. i wonder if there will be ps3 vs pc interaction, with keyboard/mouse functionality for the ps3?

I'm semi-interested in how this turns out. This genre is going to be booming over the next year or two, and The Agency already has some very nice looking competition on the horizon. And no, I'm not talking about Huxley!

;)

The concept is cool.. the characters have potential.. and SOE needs a hit.

It reminds me of PDZ without all the slime.

Is it just me or are the characters significantly uglier than the last time we saw this?

Character design.. the few characters they initially revealed were a bit more appealing.

Why make PS2-games now? Ok graphics is not all, but come on, give us a break. This looks generic and boring.

Its a PS3/PC crossplatform MMO, which means both PC and PS3 players can interact and do stuff together. You cannot expect super uber graphics from a MMO. IMO it looks stylish and clean. Looking forward...

Okay, but the 'Home'-engine looks better than this. It remember it looking much better a year ago. It had a nice cartoon style. This is plain ugly.

Not interested in any MMORPGS. Old videos of this look interesting but I doubt Sony Online has the ability to pull of their grand vision.

It is a PS1 game i think
*lol* mean, but funny ;)

but I think most people are more interested in the gameplay rather than it's visuals when it comes to "The Agency"

According to joistiq.com the cross platform play might not be available at launch of the game, although they saw it run on the PC and PS3 simultaneously on one server. Plus they admitted the superior PC visuals.
Quoting: "The development team is still struggling to balance the two platforms' controls, so that a keyboard and mouse setup isn't superior to using a PS3 gamepad -- or vice versa."
I think they do a PC only and PS3 only servers first, and later try some cross platform ones to see if it works. But as far as Im informed they never mentioned the K/M support for the PS3.

What? You think Sony can't make a decent MMORPG? Then what was Everquest?

About the game

What's up?
  • Tiz
Tiz If Joe Staten is working on H6, then they have a lot less to worry about as he can steer Halo's cinematic direction very well. (2 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz @amerakindesi: I think the planets are aligning quite nicely for Halo 6. They don't have to worry so much about multiplayer save for map design. Now they can focus efforts on the campaign. (2 Hours ago)
  • aphex187
aphex187 Best Xmas game evah! :D [url] (3 Hours ago)
  • amerakindesi
amerakindesi @Tiz: halo definitely relies more on individual skill, because every one is essentially the same character. halo is a still a great idea of a game. i hope they improve on "halo" for 6 (3 Hours ago)
  • docLEXfisti
docLEXfisti Snatcher was awesome, played it on the European Mega CD (5 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @Moonwalker: I agree. Other than the Metal Gear series, he didn't really present something as good. And I thought MGS5 was ultra boring (6 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus never played snatcher, but policenauts has a awesome scenario. (6 Hours ago)
