Page 1 2 >>Hm, could become some fun... but I doubt it ^^
But let's wait and see. Quite weird story, although...
But as was said i want to know what the NPC's will have on their side, i mean i love the concept of players could be anyone, but how will they make peope want to drop in as npc's.. or are the generic npc's actually undercover warriors?
But definitly one of the best looking games to come out of no where nice surprise :) And with a unique gameplay concept as well even more surprising... lets hope they can deliver the gameplay
source engine shows its age, shame, this has some nice ideas tho

This has nothing to do with the engine, it is the unimaginative developers that are to blame, there are plenty of ÚE3 game that look unique Bioshock and Lost Odyssey are pretty good examples of this.
And to say that the UE3 engine "delivers very little" is a very ignorant thing to say, but other than that i agree with you the source engine is awesome, but it does need to utilize the new texture techniques available.
For example: Let's say you get assigned an objective like having to assasinate this messenger and this messenger at his turn is someone else online that has to deliver this message (or whatever). You both have your seperate objectives, but they cross eachother in the way that this guy has to deliver this message as his target objective, and you on your turn have to try to prevent him from doing this.
This is just one example of what can be done, and this way you can play from the different angles any time, depending on the mission you get assigned to do. One time your the bad ass that has to assassinate someone, next you are someone that has to escort someone, or you have to deliver something, or whatever.
I think there's HUGE potential here and if well excecuted, this can be a true hit. The graphics are stunning imo. I thought the Source engine was dated. Guess not!
its games look unique from one another, unlike UE3 engine games, which all look the same and have almost zero interaction with the environment.
Source games all have that same look indeed, gives me the same buggy feeling to every source-engined game. Some goes for UE3-games.. always guys with huge armor with big guns, blood and aliens. Or just metal looking environments.

Baku: rock solid? I never played a game that crashed as often as HL2, ep1 and ep2.
i thouight this game was pc only
I doubt we will see very many PC only titles in future.
