Activision and Neversoft have developed a new game in the Guitar Hero series, titled Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. The game mostly features songs from that rock band, but some of the 40 songs are also from other artists. As I don't have the guitar close here, I actually played through these songs using the normal controller.
Doing a 10 minute video of a music game isn't exactly the most informative thing to do, but at least it shows some of the extra video content Activision has licensed. Other than that there really isn't much to say, the game is like the normal Guitar Hero game but this time based around Aerosmith. They have some cool songs to play, and of course it's a great party game.
The second song is really really long and if I had included it the video would have been much over 10 minutes, so sorry for the cut-off there.
I lost interest in GH when RB came out. Not just because of the instruments but because the characters in GH are just so FUGLY. They're like mutant muppets that I'd rather smash than look at... and to be forced to play as these trolls is just NOT fun. And I don't like all the crap all over the frets. It's hard enough to play the songs at high levels- but to have to sift through the junk on the fret is just a pain.
I like the concept of listening to Aerosmith tell their stories... but this would only be a renter for me (knowing that the RB guitars work on the GHA game on the Xbox version).
theres going to be character creation in the next guitar hero with drums, mikes, and bass. However i do prefer the rockbands anime looking characters...also do you think the RB2 will have music creation like the next GH? because i will go with RB2 if it does if it doesnt...GH4 for me!!!!

why not just learn an actual instrument if you want to create music? Much more freedom =\

@GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (3 Hours ago)

45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (3 Hours ago)

My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (3 Hours ago)

Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (3 Hours ago)

D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (3 Hours ago)

and im not at the point where im good enough to write...
GH: Aerosmith, I love it, the charts are much better than GH3 and the engine has been improved, specially when it comes to the HO/PO notes.
Rock Band is leaps and bounds more aesthetically pleasing then this.
