First announced for a June release, Batman: Arkham Asylum managed to tease us until the end of August, which is hopefully for the best for such a great game. The game will only be released in a few hours here in Europe so here are the usual first 10 minutes of the game. There will be three videos, the first one only showing the complete introduction with the Joker's "delivery" at Arkham. It will soon be followed by two gameplay videos of the beginning of the game, focusing on the sequences that did not appear in the demo. You will get a chance to see some platforming sequences as well as witness Batman's talent for crime scene investigation.

The second part is up but please don't use server DE 1 if you want to download the file. It will not work before at least an hour and there is nothing I can do to speed things up.

I have to say, I have had a blast playing every minute of the game so far. The voices, the story, the fighting animations, the atmosphere, the universe of batman, all of it... everything is done so much care and polish.

Hands down the best "hero" game I have ever played. Puts other games like infamous, protype, spiderman, etc... all to shame.

This is what a superhero game is all about. GOTY so far IMO.

I finished the game a couple days ago and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Game of the year so far. And the challenge rooms are a lot of fun too, not to mention solving every Riddler´s puzzle which took me a few hours after beating the main story and it was just as fun.

Easy there tiger, no game beats the pure sense of adrenaline from Prototype. That game was my literal dream come true of running like a ninja through urban cities. It's not as good overall as Arkham Asylum, of course.

I will develop a OCD for buying this game,I will buy a copy every six months or so until I have 10 or so copies just like Ninja Gaiden Black,I have 10 copies of that game =) awesome.......what? what if the world colapse and you are traped in the house and suddenly your copy stop working? good thing you have ten more <------good planning right there folks you should do the same and buy at least 5 copies of this game we never knows when we will need those

After having played the demo (on PS3) and seeing the 2 x first 10 minutes gameplay I have decided not to buy this game. It looks nice, it looks Batman.. but I miss something (although I cannot define what).
