Bro just picked this up, so far looks incredible

This game is the major surprise of 2008 for me. I´ve played only 3 hours of game, but is FU...ING AWESOME!! Graphics are very nice, nice environments, EXCELENT real time lighting and shadows, and EXCELENT sound (music and sfx)
Gameplay is nice and the game is very scary!! MUST HAVE

Driftwood, in the video... don´t know If you play normally or you play fast for some reason, but you miss some ammo and health packs cause you don´t look and explore to much... (I don´t know If you are who plays or not)

Yes, take the time to explore your environments.
This game is incredible, easily one of my top 5 next-gen games.

I'm the one playing in the video. I really wanted to cram as much stuff in 10 minutes as possible, so I didn't take the time to explore.

Ok, no problem then. I only mentioned cause this game must be explored and then you really apreciate the details and EAs hard work in there. But you´re right, if you show us the first 10 minutes, I understand you try to show as much stuff as possible.

No problem XD. Everyone plays as he wants, but I´m sure Blim plays slowly than in the video. When I posted my first comment I didn´t think about you try to show us as much stuff as you can in 10 minutes ;)

This is undoubtedly the biggest surprise of the year and a must-buy. Top 3 for me at the moment: Far Cry 2, Dead Space, Crysis Warhead. I'm hoping Mirror's edge and Fallout 3 will be in the same category. In that case, I think this fall will succeed fall of last year, which would be the best year for games. (Ofcourse LBP, Gears of War 2, Call of duty 5 will be great as well).

This game is absolutely horrible, horrible I say! I think I pooped in my pants in the first 15 minutes in. Got to stop playing as suggested in the reviews, instead I'll choose lights on and no surround/headphones.

Resident Evil 4 meets Doom 3... A little unoriginal, but the end result doesn't disappoint! Certainly better than the garbage that was Homecoming

It might be a little unoriginal but it does everything so well that you can't fault it. I've been playing for 3 hours and everything is really great, especially the sound (holy fudge) and the presentation (menus and gfx are amazing).

I need to get a new 360 so i can play this game =((( Anyone looking to buy an intel macbook for 600-700 bucks? If you need it shipped, you gotta pay. lol

Game looks great though, I love the lighting and the models are really nice. My favorite thing I've seen in this game other then the gore/deaths is the interface. I love how there aren't many menu's and most things are out in the game world for you to see, like the healthbar on Issac's back and stuff. They did a really great job wih the holographic stuff too, like with the map and its PoV changes as you change your view. Top notch stuff.

I'm in Chapter 3 now, this game is awesome. Playing the PC ver. but the graphic is not specifically great, but still good.

Nice presentation but does the protagonist look like a hobo from the junkyard? anyway it looks like theyve got a new menu system with no pause screen woohoo... but wait... what if i gotta pause to go do somethin?! lol

Great work again Gamersyde! You are my daily supplier of all things sweet :-) Downloading in MP4 and then playing them through PS3 on HDTV is a very nice way to enjoy your vids. Thanx.

This is a game that shines whatever system you have. Looks superb and plays with a solid framerate. Some developers should take note on how to make a multiplatform version for the PS3. Excellent stuff.

I picked up the PS3 version, looks great, and have trophies (completed 45% of them).
I completed the game yesterday and so far this is my top game this year.
As a huge dark sci-fi space fan, this is was amazing.
I didn't find any complaints, just 2-3 which are so minor that I can just let them slip.
Amazing art, voice acting, story, tools (weapons), the way they made the HUD/interface.
I mean the HUD alone is great, you see what Isaac sees, you can even tell by he moving his head on each section of the interface you go to.

I watched all the comic videos and Downfall a few times before long time its launch for the game and I got the entire backstory so when I enter the game I know exactly who is who (if they get broughts up) and what is causing this.

One thing I didn't get what the devs was out to do is to scare.
I didn't get scared, only got high tension times and panic...but not scared.
I did get a bit nudged in a few moments though, but thats alright, good thing it happened.

The dev said they are in-production for Dead Space 2...freaking bring it!

And if I remember correctly, they are planning on a movie...could be wrong.

PS. I wish Isaac could give atleast a few lines of speech, but he doesn't talk, only follows orders.

I am definitely going back for harder difficaulties and to finish up the trophies, which probably is gonna be my only game were I finish a games trophies/achievements...yes I love the game that much.
