BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will probably never make it to Europe, but whatever. In order to celebrate the release on American soil of this brand new 2D fighting game from the mighty creators of Guilty Gear, our good friend DjMizuhara turned on his old rusty VCR. And here they come, the first 10 minutes of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger in all its HD glory. If you live in Japan or in the United States, the game will be available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on June, 30th.
Update: Added a gameplay video running at 60 fps, including the stream!

I noticed the third enemy also looked like a Menos Grande.
Nice look to the game though.

Commented on 2009-06-25 07:13:37PS3 got no region protection at all and even the XBox 360 version is region free. Just go over to e.g. Amazon.com and order it, like I just did.
I can’t wait to get my hands on this baby as it is a 4 button fighter unlike SF.
No this is not XBLA/PSN… it is a box game.

Commented on 2009-06-25 09:52:30It looks really gorgeous and superb 2D animations but on what difficult level is it played in this video? – The AI seems to be on the passive side which is not very impressive. And he cut the battle he lost vs. Jin ^^
Any leads how to unlock V-13 and Hakumen?
And this game was supposed to have additional Japanese voices could you confirm that please? – I’m not really a fan of this girlish “Do you hate me Ragna?”.
Commented on 2009-06-25 10:36:16Oh yeah, and Jin is such a rip off of Ky, not to mention Haku-men that looks almost exactly like Justice.
The fact that Daisuke Ishiwatari is now only composer, rather than cahracter artist, programmer and composer, shows i guess.
Commented on 2009-06-25 13:25:52First one looks like Halibel (Espada 3) from Bleach.
Third enemy is a clear rip-off of Arachne's henchmen from Soul Eater.
One sort of looks like a male version of Saber from FSN.
I could go on... lol
Still, does look a pretty cool game though.

Commented on 2009-06-27 00:13:04If you saw this link before, it has been updated. More of the cast being used this time.
Character design isn't as good as Guilty Gear , but the mechanics (including characters) are much better imo. It's not going to appeal to the mainstream but as long as there’s enough online community to get a game I’ll be happy.
