Ugly to me.

emmmm dont think i will be picking this game up :( from them videos it just dont look as good as i was thinking **RENT**

Spidey sounds a bit like Jerry Seinfeld when he's screaming. I thought this game might be good, guess i was kinda wrong.

I guess the voice overs got to me. I am so used to hearing Toby and this new voice just doesn't fit him.

kinda like the opening, was pretty cool. cant say the game looks amazing tho, they're going in the right direction when it comes to combat, which is more then i can say for the other spiderman game. but overall it just looks a bit average. i'll give it a rental before completely condemning it tho.

After Spiderman 2, this series has been pretty much dead to me. I had a little sparkle of hope this might actually be another good Spiderman, but by the looks of it...not really.

So no matter where spidey is, he can grab even thin air to swing by? Strange

Looks terrible. Graphics are really outdated. How is it possible that a billion dollar franchise, isn't able to make a good spiderman game? Do they even care about quality?

Ultimate Spider-man was easily the best of the games. Not sure why SM2 gets so much attention, it had a huge city but it was very bland and there was almost nothing in it, the story wasn't done very well and most of the missions involved the same repetitive tasks. USM is exactly how a Spidey game should be done, it was perfect, even the voice acting was great.

I do think the combat looks like a massive improvement, but I can't stand the story, it seems to have been designed to appeal to the 12 year old fanboys.. Some of the trailers have been laughable. Enough Venom, please, he's not interesting in the slightest, there are FAR better Spidey storylines they could focus on.

And yes.. why did they bring back the magic swinging?

That voice acting is actually abysmal. You would've thought they'd put more effort into spiderman's voice but it seems like they saved the worst actor for the most important part.

The game didn't seem that bad, then again, it didn't seem that good either.

Yeah, its really really strange. I remember the previous Spiderman game wasnt like this, spidey didnt shoot his web into thin air.

You can't exactly stand in the middle of a park and shoot web and then swing out of there, it's really strange. It's like, you can't swing in open spaces, you need to be close to a tall structure, but the web still attaches to thin air when you use it.

(I haven't tried standing in the middle of a park, but as long as I was close to one it didn't work)

God the graphics look awful.

In the video, sometimes the web sticks to the building and it looks great when spidey swings..then at times the web is bang on in the middle, stuck to thin air and he's swinging..

i keep notices it and it's abit annoying..

I really like the fighting, you web to an enemy and punch, kick and then web to another enemy in mid air and another fight..you can just chain.

I wish they did another ultimate spiderman game, i really enjoyed that and spiderman 2..

The style was very comicy, first scene itself you got venom busting into a bar and pissing off wolverine ;P

What is everyone going on about? The graphics look great to me...is it the ground textures? I don't know, the Spidey model looks very next-gen. And so does Venom. But then, I'm here on Gamersyde, which was built on graphic whores.
