Probably a game we will never see over here.
This is why I refuse to buy a Wii to be honest. None of the JP stuff gets released over here and I am sick of it and that's pretty much all I want from the Wii's library.
Coming back to The Last Story, the video looks really nice.

I agree. I think he should go back to Square and make FF15 or a new rpg for the next gen consoles. This really does look pretty bad. From all the trailers this game had me interested and jealous but the new FFversus13 trailer in hd is enough for me.
Just read a full preview of the game in german M!-games and it seems to be a very innovative RPG, for start - it has a cover feature, so you can attack enemies from behind and have easier fights - and it WONT be his last game, they are just working as hard as it would be their last
I've watched a jpn guy play it for ~2h on justin and it looks pretty fun to play. The sky box is exceptionally well designed and graphics are good, but the color palatte is too pastel-ish for my taste. Anyway, this looks like a real gem in Wii's lineup and I hope for the Wii owners out there that it'll make it to the west.
Playing right now... it's a decent game, nothing amazing. Definitely doesn't remind me of Sakaguchi's glory days. I also hate the butt ugly characters. I do like how the battles are simple and can be played with one hand. Such a nice change of pace from End of Eternity (also currently playing--GREAT game)

Hmm the battle system is not what i was expecting, kinda bummed out over the "twiglight princess" esque fighting... will ren instead of buy now.
