The first 10 minutes: Viva Pinata TiP

The first 10 minutes: Viva Pinata TiP

It's a surprise for many people, but Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise will be released this week all around the world! As usual I'll never understand Microsoft's marketing teams, since the game is released at a great $40 price in the US, and at the more usual 60 euros in Europe. Joy. Anyway, even at full price this game is still excellent, at least if you like the genre and the design of course. And is you have a kid, the new coop mode is simply perfect!

Oh Sweet! thanks very much Blim!

PS: Viva Pinata 2 in the Uk is retailing at £29.99 which is £10 less than your usual 360 game. It's shocking that it's still 60euros in other european countries .... hmmm

MS is really not marketing this again ..... I dont know what they are thinking.

Damn, it's coming out so soon, I only bought Too Human last week. And it doesn't seem that long ago that I bought Soul Calibur 4..

..Too many games! :P

Well, I can get the game for 50 bucks at my retailer, non the less it seems a bit like a ripoff. Maybe I'll get it when the price gets cut.

Is the tearing the game or the capture?

Game. It doesn't happen too often, but it's still there.

Thanks Blim, doesn't bother me but thought it worth clarifying.

I think MS slowly has given up on the idea they can have a significant piece of the pie aswell on the casual familymarket.. The Xbox 360 is for hardcore gamers, and the casual familymarket is owned by Nintendo, that's just the way it is right now.. Xbox 360 gamers are simply not buying full casual games in big numbers, only thing that sells well I think is casual XBLA games.. And I know if I would have a wife and kids I would have a Wii in the house aswell instead of only a Xbox 360 (and PC)..

It's rediculous though that this game is 40 dollars in the US, and 60 euros in Europe.. That's like double the price when you calculate the exchance value.. I don't know the reason is for that, but it's like they simply don't care what is does in Europe..

Also the industry shouldn't whine about imports (or even illegal copiing) when they keep region-policies like this up.. They are asking for it..

I think they'll start advertising Trouble in Paradise over the weekend when the 360 price cut kicks in. It'd be nice to have a 30 second spot of a really colourful game like this with "game for $39, console for $199" at the end of it. But maybe they are sending the game to die.

Btw, will this also be released on PC?

This game is $40 brand new in the us. And is the furthest game from a Ripoff I have played. Very fun, and a ton of replay value.

The first one was kinda fun. And a little addicting. I just hate that everyone can see that I played VP.

And now they might see that I played VP2.

SimonM7 Yeah it's brilliant. I wouldn't say it's nothing like AC1, but AC1 just seems like a bizarrely long, super early demo of 2. (1 Hour ago)
