Marvelous intro!

Love the time setting, atmosphere and the vibe somehing that Bioshock had as well.

Only thing I hope is they polished the hell out of the gunplay mechanic this time. But I will definitely play this.

Yep. Not watching. I've seen enough to know this is a buy buy buy.

That has to be Pc footage right? looks great.

I honestly don't get it why people would even watch this. With alot of games, especially this one..the intro is something special. It gives you that 'wow' feeling, element of surprise and what not. Ah well...whatever.

Infinite doesn't even have a Villan shown like A. Ryan.

I watched in an attempt to erase the less then impressive VGA footage from my mind. And it kinda did. Very similar to bioshock 1s opening. Could do with seeing some more of the main combat though.

I rather see what i buy then get screwed up .
And its not like you reading the manuscript or something. It is only the INTRO.
And what i honestly dont get is posting beneath a video you haven't watched.
What is next , writing reviews for games you haven''t played >_>.

Looks good! Some interesting dialogue there at the beginning.
The woman says a "One doesn't go into an experiment knowing one HAS failed", and then they say "He DOESN'T row".
Seems to imply that time travel is going to involved in the story, we already know that Elizabeth can manipulate time from that first gameplay demo.

I thought the quote at the beginning was interesting too "the mind will desperately try to make memories where non exist" (or something along those lines) could all be in his head?

You heard here first. Infinite is just the AAA copycat trying to reap on To The Moon laurels.

Its says underneath that quote "Barriers of trans-dimensional travel", so perhaps the beginning of the game is after Booker has traveled back in time and 'struggles' to remember what happened before, plays out the events of the game finds out that he's done it all before. BIG TWIST WOULD YOU KINDLY!

Or not.

Fantastic voice acting.
Commented on 2012-12-20 19:00:44
how can you add a spoilerish comment?
Commented on 2012-12-20 19:44:35
I wouldn't really call what was displayed "spoilers". I've seen more spoilers in any given trailer.

Great stuff.

More please.

Or better yet, shut up and take my money, now!

I can understand why people will watch this because I also want to. It's an important part of the experience though for me and so I wouldn't want to ruin that for the sake of seeing it early

Watch it guys, it doesn't show that much, to be honest.

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth I'm tempted to blame the YEBIS middleware for the optical filter. (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @Melmoth: I agree that framerate is more important, but it's also a little disappointing that consoles aren't up to spec with our TVs. But.. oh well. (2 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth on another note. I'm having trouble with my vision while playing Bloodborne. It's like my eyes are just jumping around the picture and they can't pick up pick up things quickly. (2 Hours ago)
  • Executioner_UK
Executioner_UK @Melmoth: Giant black borders and calling it cinematic solves that in 2015 (2 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth having an actiongame run at 1080p, ~20-25fps, that would be a resolution issue (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX They're never on the cutting edge. GalCiv 2 was a great game though, so I give him credit for that! (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @Melmoth: Well he doesn't really know what he's talking about. He has experience as a developer, but he's never been a graphics guy.. and frankly just look at Stardock's games. (2 Hours ago)
