The new Prince of Persia in 3 images

We finally got our hands on the three images of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands that Ubisoft released on some privileged websites a few days ago. A clear return to the old trilogy's atmosphere though apparently closer to Warrior Within than Sands of Time. Bad news?

like the last PoP..hoped they would continue it after leaving it without a conclusion.

This one will have to try very hard to get away from the "movie tie-in" stigma thats bound to follow it.

@nam37 Fake?... Well I don't think those are fake, and I dunno I'd love to see more of the NEW Prince of Persia T_T This one is cool and everything, but it was supposed to be already finished... It's fault of the fucking stupid movie, but in the other hand I really hope that it sells well so the next game would continue Elika's story...

it's like the last POP game never happened. which frankly i'm happy as hell about. bring it on, whether it be styled on sands of time prince, two thrones prince, or indeed warrior within prince, at the end of the day, they all played better then the steaming heap that was released a year or so ago. i dont have anything to complain about (for a change)

Damn looks like its going to be a low budget game based on the movie. The graphics looks more like wii game

Then it will just ruin the franchise for me this time. Unless they decide to give the latest game a sequel.

I hated Warrior Within and could not even finish it. It kept me away from the third game while I had loved Sands of Time. I don't understand why the prince has to be all badass... I guess we also have to expect the return of the horrible hard rock soundtrack that had nothing to do with the atmosphere of the original PoP from Broderbund... Yay!

Ubi have gone from a fantastically beautiful Prince of Persia, to an incredibly ugly Prince of Persia. And if this is anything like Warrior Within, it will be an utterly hateful experience fit only the bin.

This game is NOT related to the movie. It's set between Sands of Time and Warriors Within.

oh no I was looking forward to it but this pics don't look good at all. Please make it like POP SOT game that was by far the best POP game. WW and more action type game will suck. Prince should be like typical middle-east saving princes kinda game will do it. I read this game is going to be between SOT and WW so I am not sure about it
