The Solus Project: 8 min. of Gameplay

Revealed at E3 2015, the survival game The Solus Project gets an 8 minute-long gameplay video. Stranded on an alien planet, the player will face challenges, harsh environments and merciless weather while trying to send a message home and save the human race. It will be out in early 2016 for PC and Xbox One.

Don't think the voiceover is bad, it's just not a AAA voice/actor -- in some lines it sounded a lot more legit than a lot of bullshit no-one-would-ever-say-that you hear in a lot AAA game voice overs.

I agree on that voice acting. He is talking too much. Can't imagine myself to talk too much while being alone. :-D But the game looks awesome. It holds You by Your hand maybe too much and such significant discovery right after 7 minutes of gameplay is a little strange, but we will see. Still interested in this.

Nooo..it ended when i wanted to see more. Yep, they got my attention with this video now. The voice is indeed like talking to someone over teamspeak or party chat, but it could be much worse. Definitely curious about the rest now.

Wow...surprised this is an official demo video. And that it's using Unreal 4.

Poor visuals. Poor script. Poor voice acting. Can't really see the appeal of it at all right now. And (hopefully) by the time it hits I'll have no mans sky and battlefront filling in all my sci-fi needs. This is gonna be a tough sell...and will really need the survival aspect to shine.

    GriftGFX I think publishers can miss the plot a bit too. I think EA is stuck between chasing trends and being stuck in sorta old ways. They need to figure out this market. (10 minutes ago)

    Melmoth and it would work on consoles too. Elite Dangerous with it's advanced controls were still able to work reasonably well on a gamepad. Giving the game a dynamic campaign built around story elements. (11 minutes ago)

    Melmoth Another kind of SW game i'd love to play is a space-sim kind of game. sorta like a modern take on Tie-Fighter (or the X-Wing series in general). Those were games developed by a team that came from.. (16 minutes ago)
