The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts is clearly one of the most anticipated games to be released next year and today's images prove once again that it is going to look gorgeous. This should make the wait even harder for those who can't wait to play Geralt's new adventure.

Most of these pics don't look that good...Not sure what happened to that wolf fur and the scenery in the third pic is disappointing. Still hyped for this game though!!

Nice that they toned down that very sharp AA that they had in previous screenshots. They look so much better with this more "smooth" AA.

Think it still looks pretty good, they just look like screens from the actual game. Most of the stills we've seen form the game so far have been either staged to look epic (i imagine) or shots form cutscenes. The game in motion still looks superb.

lol like the AMD tressfx hair in tombraider on pc was a exclusive feature yet the re-release on ps4 had more real hair

these things just like that Nvidia stuff can still be done on ps4 but it would be called something else

Ok to be clear, these are screen-shots for the console version. So dont worry that this is what the game is going to look maxed out.

depends which console, we all know the ps4 is way better than the xbox one tech wise and even devs say this, though if the above is the ps4 version then I wont bother preordering

there is no excuse this gen console wise to have lack lustre looking games

Well ppl dont go all crazy, this is just console version, that is why it doesn't look THAT good from the previous max out PC settings. Just chill and buy GTX 970 ;)

specially on the ps4, we all know the xbox one can not match the ps4 at all that's a fact and its impossible due to hardware limitations yes devs can try tweak stuff but not much and some find it hard and have said so with the xbox one

though don't get me wrong I know the ps4 can not have the game looking like the pics where the pc was using the ultra settings but then what idiots expect it to when its a £329 machine compared to the £1000+ machine used to show these clips..infact I know full well devs use pc rigs that expensive that even big gamers can not afford lol

You are really going to be disappoint with your PS4 if you are expecting the games to run at PC quality. The Witcher 3 on BOTH consoles are not going to match the level of visuals PC is going to have.

If you already have a capable CPU, I will say $330 for a GTX970 is better and cheaper than $400 for a console.

I always found that this game looked average in screenshots, but really good in motion. Still my most anticipated game of early 2015, right after Bloodborne !

Looks fine to me, I find modern games need to be seen in motion not stills. Maybe peoples expectations are just to high and unrealistic.

this is much more than I expected of the console versions. If they can pull that off on the system I own I will be mighty happy. In my eyes it is nowadays often more a matter of taste. If you like ultra realism or a more stylistic approach. Both work for this game, as one can see from the Nvidia techdemo aswell as the wolfs on those screens we have here. People so often think that the asset that needs more hardwarepower is the better asset and forget to look at it not from a technicsided view, but just from the eyes of a happy gamer ;)
