Looks funny, but not half as good as GTA IV. Guess Saints Row 2 won't be as story-driven as the famous Rockstar game.

It looks really flat-shaded.. But im sure its gonna look better ingame. I cant imagine its gonna look worse than Saints Row 1 (with its amazing lighting), which some of those screens do look like, so im gonna wait for a demo until i complain :)

looks alot like Saints Row 1. I don't think this developer has the talent to really compete with Rockstar's title. I mean, i remember all the excuses they were making as to why certain features couldn't make it into the game. The Saints Row engine just isn't good enough. With that said, I did enjoy playing saints row, but i probably won't purchase the sequel...

Doesn't have to be like GTA IV storytelling, SR was a lot of fun.. Sandbox games should offer a cool world to play arround in, have a RPG element which involves you collecting cool stuff for your character like clothes, weapons and cars etc, SR lets you do that..

SR 2 together with GTA IV, sandbox-game fans have a lot to look forward to in 2008..

Give me a smooth FPS at all times. Also during heavy gunshooting and explosions. The next gen consoles can easily handle that, especially the big Japanese monster <3.

I don't get it, how is Volition going to release another Saint's Row without any new GTAs to copy??? I mean, that's what was so fun about the original. Could they possibly be basing the whole of their next game on those measly GTA:IV trailers?!?!?! That's just bad design.

I think the company doesn't have the advertising and fanboys to compete with GTA series. Saint's Row did a LOT of things better than ANY GTA game, and a lot of things worse.

This one's gonna have airplanes, which GTA4 will lack. I also read in the Game Informer article on it that there's going to be a lot less 'serious' minigames, similar to that insurance fraud games in the first one.

Anyways, both Saint's Row and GTA series are great series, but people tend to rag on Saint's Row a lot and I have no idea why.

If GTA offers online co-op i dont think this game stands a chance. but since i havnt heard anything about online co-op for GTA i guess this game beats it in the multiplayer department.

Wow, a guy walking calmly from an explosion? A nerdy guy getting shot by the protagonist. This is all so new and fresh! No, really, I swear. It's never been done before...never. Anyway, I thought most developers stopped producing Xbox games once the Xbox 360 came on the market. Do you think Microsoft will be updating the Xbox emulator to work is this game as well?
