the gameplay is actually surprisingly different to 3, its much faster paced, but you still get the manage to have as much control on the ball as you did in ts3. they have somehow worked out a way to make the footwork of the players look realistic while running quickly, which has allowed the gameplay to play out at a pace much more like the real thing. also love that it is easier to make winners and errors, and the left trigger to allow you to run around and hit an inside out forehand never gets old. also love how different it plays on clay and on the hard court, as it should
apart from animation, the graphics could look a bit better i reckon, it looks almost identical to ts3, with stlightly better player likeness. The animation of the players is spot on however, even with the way they react after the point is over. very impressive.
if this game has an actual decent tennis career mode, and online that isn't laggy, it could definately be the best sports game of the year.
overall as it is, the demo i played has managed to capture the game of tennis much better than any tennis game before it.
