1C Entertainment Reveals Q1 2019 Launch Window, New Trailer for Cyberpunk PC RTS, Re-Legion
Become a Futuristic Prophet Leading your People to Altruistic or Selfish Goals,
Converting Citizens into Cultists that Fuel your Rise to Power
PRAGUE, October 31, 2018 – 1C Entertainment today unveiled a new game trailer for its upcoming cyberpunk-influenced PC real-time strategy game, Re-Legion, while sharing new details on the game’s development. Re-Legion, which is now planned to launch in Q1 of 2019, will focus on the highly replayable single player experience that has excited PC gamers most.
In the top-down isometric RTS, players become a prophet in a futuristic technocratic society where they can define their own belief system, convert citizens, and upgrade them into fighting units to rid the city of non-believers. Players will take on the role of Elion, a strong leader who emerges to rid the world of its misery by becoming a leader and prophet. As Elion increases his influence and power, he turns non-believing citizens into his faithful followers—introducing a very different resource management system where ordinary people are converted into “Adepts” that drive the player’s ascent to dominance.
“Re-Legion presents interesting philosophical concepts relevant in today’s world in the context of a fresh take on the RTS genre,” said Nikolay Baryshnikov, CEO of 1C Entertainment. “We’ve decided to focus on the single player aspect of Elion’s journey to messianic power to create the most satisfying experience for players, with the possibility of adding multiplayer elements after launch.”
In Re-Legion, players follow Elion’s journey from lone prophet to the most powerful advocate of religion in the city. As players convert ordinary non-believing citizens into followers—essentially, their units—the cultists expand the group’s possibilities by obtaining “CryproCredits” to enable upgrades. By praying, they increase faith in order to gain and use special abilities. They can also hack buildings and ad-boards to expand and control territories and convert other citizens—or fight enemy units and non-believers.
The overall direction of the player’s cult is determined by the dogmas they choose, allowing different playthroughs to have a very different experience. From a merciful religion to one that despises non-believers, each one of dozens of dogmas defines the way in which the cult will pursue its goals. But whichever path you choose on any playthrough, your followers will all work together to build a strong and powerful cult… They are the legion of their own religion.
• Unique RTS mechanic where new units are acquired by converting citizens into followers
• Vivid futuristic cyberpunk visuals and dark atmosphere
• Mature story that offers profound background and moral choices
• Build your own cult using an original Dogmas system that ensures replayability
• Special territory control mechanics that incorporate hacking techniques
Re-Legion is developed by Ice Code Games and published by 1C Entertainment. The game has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

@Seth: If anything I've heard that Odyssey compounds those issues. I've heard plenty of people say that there's TOO MUCH content. (5 Hours ago)
I'll keep playing once per week, but the Ubi's usual world building, gigantic maps filled with crap is not changed since last gen and is kinda off putting. (6 Hours ago)
@AndreasZ94: i do like the more responsive controls of the main characters, but the world is lifeless coming from RDR2, horse controls and animations are laughable and generation behind competition. (6 Hours ago)
@AndreasZ94: I did tried AC odyssey for a few hours. It's weird, that game is extremely pretty (on PC) and i like some of the side quests and the dialogue choices. (6 Hours ago)
My second most played game this gen after Witcher 3. (6 Hours ago)
@AndreasZ94: i hit 200 hours at around 92% in RDR2. Funny thing the stats doesn't even count many stranger missions (for example for 100% you need only 10 of them) and other optional stuff. (6 Hours ago)
In RDR2 a horse died on a main road, every time I past it the carcass was more rotten. Now there are just bones. (9 Hours ago)
