THQ released these images and a new trailer of 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, presenting the cover mechanics. The game is planned to be released on February 20th on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Graphics look pretty solid to me, but I don't really know much about the gameplay. All I know is that it's practically taken the Gears of War formula.

i actualy dont think it looks that bad. people seem to be hating on it just cos of the name associated with the title. if it was "generic marine number 204856" instead of 50 cent, im sure people wouldnt be bashing quite as much. hell, i hate 50 cent as much as the next guy, but as a game this COULD end up being half decent. i'll be renting it either way. i'm at least willing to give it a shot.

No AA, everything looks shiny (plastic), face has no expressions at all, poor textures.

Looks like an older UE3 game.

graphically speaking it looks ok, not great and it does have a rather plastic look but I must say his arms look pretty freaky. Looks like it could end up alright but only alright...I'd find it hilarious if this was the next sleeper hit though and turned out brilliant.

In motion it dosen't look as bad visually(AA wise, textures still look bad and the plastic thing is still there). Though I still doubt it'll be any good.

No need to hate on the graphics just because of the presence of 50 cent, because it looks terrible by default anyway. I'm not quite sure what it is exactly, the weird lighting or funny textures or shaders, but something looks terribly off.

Animations suck as well, and the gameplay looks like a watered down Gears. 50 cent or not, it just doesn't look like anything worth spending even 50 cents on!

Okayyy..."Worst Attempt to Joke Award of 2009" already belongs to me! ;p

its funny that everyone bashing games for having no AA, but I havent seen anyone complaining on gears 2... even marcus armor is jaggie.... its weird not even epics own games (they have built the engine, I mean) can look better technically.

and oh, this game does not look good btw. :P

the game looks like fun to be honest

but it's 50 that is putting me off the game, you have an unknown game character to this game..we are talking something else then.

It could have potential if you created an interesting original character but to look at "fitty" for the duration of the game would just be too much to take. I mean, the out of control ego is just really sickening...

im surprised no one has mentioned the uber ridiculous storyline. they stole his diamond skull necklace or whatever and now his in IRAQ, at least he could have had another outfit like some special forces clothing or something, but now he has his typical gangsta rapper outfit hahahaha.

Unreal Engine 3 games rarely, if ever have anti-aliasing. Even Gears of War 2 has no anti-aliasing, but as it's all so dark people don't notice the jaggies as much.

Man, look at all this 50 cent hatred.

KORNdog was right; people are focusing way too much on the fact that it's a 50 cent title, rather than the game itself. I hate him as much as the next guy, but this game doesn't look that bad.

But considering we'd be playing as this character that a lot of us simply don't like, and considering the game will probably be filled with dialog and music that a lot of us aren't fans of, I don't see the problem with being down on the game. Especially if it ends up being a watered-down version of comparable titles.
