7th of April in the US, I'm not sure if I've seen any date for Europe? I know a couple of European stores has put it as the 20th of March in Europe, but that seems a bit early. All I've seen in European press releases is "Spring 2009", I might have missed something though.
Best FPS on current gen? Hmm, quiet possibly so. Oh, and last gen too. Even if it is just an update. Really makes me wonder what all the fuss about KZ2 is about when this sleeping beast is around the corner.

I don't think it's got the fanboy press. I know Riddick was popular, but it was no Halo in sales. Which is a shame as it's such a great game, technically and gameplay wise.

True, but correct me if I'm wrong when I say it had no MP and was pretty short...
I enjoyed it, but I guess for some people, the MP is the main reason for a purchase.
The multiplayer in this game, is actually kinda cool sounding. It's just like the Splinter Cell multiplayer.
You know, I played a little of the Darkness multiplayer. And the fun part of it was the shapeshifting anytime. But it was very Quake-like, so it was kinda archaic, and not great shooting.

I agree. I'm not a Vin Diesel fan and I don't think he's a good actor or anything, but the role as Riddick suites him perfectly, and is the reason why I'm buying it (not "buying it" in the sense of: purchasing something, but in the sense of: "being believable").
As for the game, it's not a technical masterpiece by any means..but it's servicable. The game lieing behind that though, is wonderfull!
I just checked some gameplay vids from MP modes and ...... i've been blinded by them. Talk about difference from SP to MP.....disguisting. They really should stick with SP.
