Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

The first two games did not really make it big when they were released but Activision is ready to give it one more try with a whole new episode of True Crime: Hong Kong. Provided they improve the formula of the two previous titles, it might finally be able to compete with the GTA series.

My wife and I were two of the very few people in the world who really liked the first two, hopefully the next one will be similar in design and gameplay :)

i actually played the xbox version of True crime LA the other day... such a bad bad game. Way too ambitious for the engine.

Be interesting to see actual gameplay of this..as if it's keeping the open world setting i really doubt it's going to look like the trailer

I loved the MANY glitches on true crime LA. If it's got the same collision issues with cars like being shot to the sky after crashing with stuff I'm in!!!

This was one of the few franchises from the last generation I was really waiting to get a sequel/reboot. They were just too ambitious for those old consoles.

And I guess this means I can stop pestering the old developers about making a True Crime 3.

Having lived in Hong Kong myself, i have to say that the scenery in this trailer looks pretty accurate. Kowloon style!

No you are not, I with my brother and a hell-load of friends are die-hard franchise fans. This series stays as featuring some of the most addictive movie spectacular experiences ever...

-First part was an all-out 80's Hong Kong classic, it totally breathed atmosphere with excellent gameplay and musics.

-2nd game is a power-house of technology. Seriously, you can't get any sandbox game even today that has full rain wetness in city complete with real-ime reflections, dynamic shadowing, water physics and passenger reflections on cars. It basically failed due to bad execution. But damn, it was addictive!!!

-This 3rd game reeks with culture... the hard-boiled, police-story sort you know... more 80s goodness, and from the trailer, it shows a variety of gameplay types and Yakuza 3 like on-foot chase sequences. That, topped with how fairly they embeded politan sandbox technology into the 2nd game, I trust the team, they'll deliver. Its my GOTY for 2010 approved!
