The cell shading looks great on the characters and they're put into great looking environments.

Looks great so far, especially the environments shown on the first scan. Looks like a Tales of game with a different name.

Seems they are doing exactly as I expected, keep all thier top franchises for PS3 and make new ones for the 360.

The problem with Cell Shading is unless they do an amazing job with the lighting and animation (animating everything like cloths and individual strands of hair etc..etc..) it will just look like a really pretty PS2 game. I really hope they pull this off, I would love to see what a truly next gen cell shaded game looks like. Even if they don't, as long as the charecters are interesting and the story is good I will most likely grab it.

I agree completely, I just don't think there are very many "attack styles" that can be used to great effect for both Japan and the US so they consistantly use the one or two that work best.

It really looks nice.

And it's interesting to see what they are going to do with this dream world concept. The battles are going to be realtime instead of turn based. Really promising.

It does look nice. Is this 360 exclusive, I doubt it. Most game developers wont make an exclusive game for the 360 that looks this good especially when it's selling worse then the xbox, I could be wrong. Note on roxwell's pic, every time I see that Mario rapping it makes me feel wierd. It's just eery, so surreal.

Looks like an average RPG from Japan, but since it's on Xbox 360 everyone has to care!

What..??

Art syle is very nice, first 720 cell shaded game i have seen, looks great, I like the use of self shadowing makes the cell shading look really nice.

Fimistu only have it down as X360 so seem's it's exclusive.

Blim Blim, is Namco-Bandai really making this game? I thought it was tri-Crescendo? It's on their website.

Looks like Tri-Cresendo are developing, Namco are publishing.

Seems it came to the 360 instead of the PS3.

Thanks Jolli. This game looks beautiful. If this is any indication of how gorgeous cel-shading will be on Nextgen.. then consider me extremely excited.

The game concept seems to be kind of cool as well. I read it has to do with some famous real-life composer's dreams or something. He seems to be involved in the development aspects of it as well. Maybe he'll be doing the music?

Anyway, chalk one up on 360's evergrowing RPG library.

rememver they only handle the sound in star ocean and valkirye profile, the most importent thing as graphic story and game play was made by Tri-Ace.

This is not the rpg to look for...

One of the reasons is that the 360 isn't doing well in Japan, so any game that's would appeal to that market is good.

Also the 360 doesn't have many RPGs, I love RPGs and this one looks awesome. I'd want to know more about the story and gameplay though.

Thing is, a lot of japanese devs have jumped ship to the 360 because of license and development costs on the PS3. The next Magna Carta game is for 360 instead for that very reason.

I love the look of this game, but then I love the look of a bunch of PS2 RPGs too, but I dunno how to enjoy the genre yet. I'm working on it though!

i hope this is exactly what happens because some of the rehashes of the old series are getting very tiring. i'm not sure i want to have anything to do with 20 more FF games from the the FFVII storyline and 6 more from the general FFXIII scope. as with all things, there will always be people who buy them simply based on the name though. (not to imply they won't be good, but some franchises have definetly declined over the years)

it's looking good so far, hope it continues to progress well.

I don't know if it's exclusive to xbox360, but i guess so because it only shows xbox360 dvd-rom. There's really not much they tell at all..even the battle system is a mystery..they only say that Allegretto has a sword and Polka has an umbrella.

Soco, same with FF that went from crystall and magic to hi tech and kids who like fashion...

When Kitase and nomura was let in by Sakaguchi it changed...,biggest misstake ever...

even if FF7 was fucking amazing.

Glad that blue dragon and Lost odyssey is comin to 360!!!

That was in the past. tri-Crescendo has recently begun developmental stuff too. They did Baiten Kaitos for the Gamecube.
