Can't wait to start messing with this engine when Epic finally decides to give public access to it. This is probably the engine that will power most next gen games, just like UE3 did this gen.

the fact that their efforts were placed into something that isn't a game, or even related to in game consoles graphics is majorly off putting. My PC should be able to run this like a champ, but that's about it.

Tech demos can be such a drab, waste of time and talent. Unreal made 3 tech demos and all of them could have been fresh titles. seriously what gives?

Not really a waste of time or talent at all. In fact, it's a good use of talent, as it's that talent being put to use to get creative with the engine so that the knowledge can be passed on down to a game development environment. These are more for thought out solutions. The use of emitters, as being discussed here, illustrates that. It's a clever use of those emitters producing effects that would normally take up a lot of time trying to solve in other ways. You'd normally only ever see these kind of techniques used in CGI production, but here they are being used for a game engine. Very cool.

Any AAA games being developed?
Epic Games's founder Tim Sweeney declared that there are many studios using Unreal Engine 4 to develop numerous triple-A games and also some smaller titles and that we should start seeing the results in late 2014.

The known AAA games being developed using UE4 are:

Daylight, Fable Legends, Fortnite, Space Hulk: Deathwing (WarHammer 40.000 universe).

Also, Ninja Theory's new IP, Square Enix's Next Generation Titles and YAGER Development's next generation AAA project.

Also, below is the link of the official Unreal Engine 4's Tool & Feature Highlights, which has a lot of information on what the UE4 has and can do:

They make a good use of technology but my only problem is that very few companies utilize the engine as their targets depict.

Epic took the time to create such artistic designs for a tech demo and yet it's some different game that makes the cut, I just don't like when things like that happen.

I would have liked it if i could play the Infiltrator as a game.
