Video of the Zegapain XOR demo

Video of the Zegapain XOR demo

Zegapain XOR was announced a few months ago the game adaptation of the Zegapain anime on Xbox 360. The demo is now available on the japanese Marketplace, and of course I HAD to do a video. After a few minutes playing the demo, I don't really regret not preordering that game. It's not terrible, but it's certainly not great either. Just your average anime adaptation.
Update: The 720p version is online.

I agree with him you. I dont understand jap, but it makes the game alot better with its original language, but the text would be nice if it was in english though. This and Lost Planet are the best demos ouot yet, atleast for me.

I quite enjoyed the demo. Not exactly mind blowing but I had a lot of fun zooming about cutting dudes up. Plays pretty well for a demo, dunno how a full version might hold up though.

I just played it and as a person that has imported most of the Gundam games for the PS2 over the past 4 years, I can safely say this game is a lot better then most of them.

The colors are amazing.

Whoa the gameplay looks awesome... I think people in Japan would really like this game, but who knows. I'm most likely going to purchase this one.

noice! Looks pretty slick for this sort of game.

Wow... I think i'm going to cave and just purchase this one. The gameplay looks really fun and thats all I really want I know it can get repetitive, but it looks cool to be honest. If they mix up the enemies and your available abilities (I hope you have more than just that slashing melee and maybe a couple guns.)

To be honest not many games have even managed to nail just the flying aspect much less all the nice effects and that melee. :) This game is loads better than a lot of games out there that try to accomplish something similar. Not comparing it to zoe.

This must be a pretty popular game. i've been downloading it for about half an hour and it's only at 4%.

Anyways, it looks fun from the video, I'm just hoping for some more varying types of enemies or at least some enemies that don't just run away from you like in this vid.

The demo runs on a north american X360, and its pretty damn fun.... first attempt i failed the mission (time up i guess) second time i got an S rank in 6mins. Its really fun, if i ever see it going for cheap online, and its region free, i might grab the game.

Seriously scazza this game is EXTREMELY fun and ultimately thats what its all about. The game has to be fun and it certainly is.

Reminds me of the style of Virtua Ontario Tangram
Also if this game had online mp, whos knows how good it'd be

played through the demo a couple of times and I must say i'm pretty disappointed. The game is entertaining but nothing amazing. For anyone who actually did love this game go pick up Zone of the Enders: the 2nd Runner for PS2 if you can find it. Zegapain is a cheap imitation of the ZOE franchise. You'll fall in love with that game if you liked Zegapain.

By the way, for those who arnt in to Robotech style games like this (i think thats the term, i mnot a fan), this game is mostly about sword fighting and lock-on missiles. Punch R to zoom in and hit B to sword bash away, and use X to sheild if they attack back. Also using left and right analog to select Armour then using Y (activates current skill) will get u a nice sheild).

It seems a little odd the game, and the controls are very offputting. But just try and beat the level, it can be a blast for some ppl. Plus its 250megs or so, so its a tiny download.

What's up?
  • digi_matrix
digi_matrix Paranormal Activity was insane, totally deserves being the most profiting indie film ever made. I saw the original version, not the theatrical one. WAY BETTER! (3 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (9 Hours ago)
  • Megido
Megido Did you make comics and stuff for kong back in the day? The art looks similar :) (10 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7

  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (11 Hours ago)

alimokrane @SimonM7: Dude That's amazing. Do u draw that stuff ?? (12 Hours ago)
