Really? framerate bad, grr, i played the xbox demo this month on the demo disk and while it was fun, the framerate was really bad, i thought they would have cleaned it up like they did with the graphics and such for this version!

anyway. I've seen direct feed videos from Gametrailers.com and IGN and such and the framerate looked pretty flawless there! Strange

I was wondering if anyone here have played both the XBOX 360 version and the PC version.
If so do it look much bether on XBOX 360?

I have played the PC version and I just watched this video.
I can't see much differens.
Maybe its a little bit sharper and the reflection on the car is a little bit betther.
But not much else.

btw, how large is the demo (mb) and how long did it take to download on ur connection? Just out of interest!

It's about 950 MBytes big. I downloaded it at about 450 kbytes/s so it was quick.

blim i gotta ask you this i've tried to find an answer everywhere but couldn't: I know x360 demos are free to download but is the subscription free to sign up for that you need for downloading the demos? I dont have a HD yet so i cant download anything on my xbox.

I've heard that the framerate on the demo was abysmal, like you said, however I can attest that the final version has none of these problems. It's a perfect 30fps all the time.

Terrible game, NFS hasn't been the same since this move to these childish cars/mods/scenarios. :(

Seems odd that a demo that was released now after the console launch isnt as good in terms of FPS as the launch game :P THey prob used old demo!

Yea I get this demo to. I compare the demo with PG3 and is a shame for EA really haha, and there is no a king kong demo on the Market Place. Only a Kameo demo and NFS Most Wanted. The rest are only trailers.

Somehow I doubt any of you will be downloading the NFS demo. It's actually been on the servers for a while now, but you'd be lucky to download half the file without your download being interrupted. I can't even DL the Kameo demo, and I've been trying since launch. Busy servers.

BTW, there's also an NBA Live demo up there. No luck with that one either. So far all I've been able to DL is trailers.

Blim, one simple question.

So it doesn't cost any money to download demos (that would suck since PC demos are MANY and FREE). But how many demos are there available right now? Do you think they'll keep supporting that feature, which would basically mean no more waiting for OXM demos?

EDIT: Can you also download gameplay videos of future games, or trailes, etc etc?

For the moment only 3 demos are available, Kameo, NBA Live and NFS:MWOnly trailers, there are about 10 available, all in 480p and 720p resolution.

Btw this is for a someone in France, it certainly could be different in other countries.
