GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One Xbox 360 PS3

Instead of showing you main missions you already know or you want to discover by yourself, we figured it would be just as good to play tourist in Los Santos and give you a sneak peek at this PS4 version of Grand Theft Auto V. Unfortunately, desptite waiting for the rain to show, the weather remained desperately sunny this time, so maybe you'll get to see the rain effects later. As you can see, the first person view redefines the touristic dimension of the game, but it's a bit of shame that there is still so much aliasing to be seen. After games like Far Cry 4, we truly hoped Rockstar's number one port would benefit from a better antialiasing technique. Obviously, that's not that big a deal, but well, we like to bitch once in a while.

Spent sometime with the game last night . Say what you will about the antialiasing but this is just a reminder on how far ahead Rockstar is against the competition. No comes close to there art direction in presenting a virtual open world. Horizon 2, Far Cry 4 don't have nearly the diversity in weather, lighting and geography like GTA.

My one complaint is with all these great looking locations this game is begging to it's own version of outpost or Hitman like missions.

Haha, to watch this in 60 fps, just to go back to 30 when playing. It's ouch at times.

Its disappointing how the trailer showed the trees swaying in the wind barely a week before release, and in the game its all static, no motion. Still gorgeous but WTH happened.

You know it doesnt matter what framerate the footage is captured, you still see the game at 30fps as long as the capture framerate is equal or higher.

I played it on X1 with the tv's motion flow on smooth, it can look and play so damn nice, but sadly lots of artifacts an ugly shit happens when you look around with the camera a little too fast, totally ruining it. But that makes it look 60fps to me, if it weren't for the ugly things happenning.

Watching these videos makes me want to buy this game again (are rockstar paying you?? :), it looks superb, the graphics quality and the detail in the world is so much more 'appreciable' in first person, also the draw distance and frame rate looks good, which is more than I can say for the crap that is farcry 4 that I just downloaded for the pc.

same. I might get both the PC and PS4 versions. It'll be cheap soon enough, CEX will be flooding with PS4 copies for next to nothing in about 2 months.

i don't know, the PS3 and 360 versions still sell for £20, maybe some store will have the PC version fairly cheap like morrisons did several years back.

Oh shit, you're right, that's a damn shame, they're usually quite cheap. https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=5026555410212... But only thing is, I like to get all my PC games on Steam, I do love a good Steam sale. :)

I'll shop around a bit for the PS4 version.

I hate the fact that us here in the UK we get shafted with PS4 game prices going from £40 to £50 new, when the US prices remain at $60 from last gen to now. That's some bullshit.

the biggest problem here is now that blockbuster and gamestation have gone their is only HMV and game, HMV's prices have always been high so that only leave us with GAME, the supermarkets may sell games but their just not as varied also most don't stock new PC games or any PC games.

most of my PC games come from graphics card promotions (already gone though 3 r9 280x's a GTX 690 and a GTX 780Ti this year, now im waiting for EVGA to send me the 980 as part of the step up program "hoping to get the 3 free games currently bundled with all GTX 900 series cards).

edit: almost forgot the GTX 550Ti as a temp card till the 980 arrives then the 550ti will be used in a media center PC.

I have two factory overclocked Gigabyte GTX780 Ti's and won't be upgrading anytime soon, but those 3 games look sweet, I hope you get them. :)

You need to go digital, Disc based PC gaming is a thing of the past. last PC game I bought retail was the orange box. :P

Footage looks great.
If you have the time to do a "Flying around Los Santos" on this new version again, that would be really cool.

I honestly don't notice the aliasing. But then again I've never been very sensitive to aliasing. Even when I'm playing on PC and can pump up the anti aliasing I just don't care generally. I DO, however, wish that they could have done something with the texture and shadow filtering here. It's quite disappointing to still see shadows resolving at such a close distance.

Believe it or not, there are sets out there where input lag is not present when using the motion smoothing, or its so well negated, that there is no difference using it, or not using it. I have a set that is like that, and exactly like he said, its beautiful playing some 360 games on at times, like Halo 4 specifically looked awesome on my set, almost as good as the MCC at times.

Anyway, i game on PC, and running at 60fps already, motion smoothing doesnt really apply, however i have found that during framerate drops, its almost like the TV compensates for the dips, with the smoothing--and i can guarentee you there is no way that i would be able to go 25-3 on the new CoD using KB/m if there was input lag on this set...lol

Was pretty hyped about this actually, but when i started the game and driving around i only felt that there's nothing to do. I've done everything in the ps3 version and pretty graphics won't really change that.

Played some Online yesterday with some friends. Fooled around some, pimping cars. But soon we all asked eachother, "what now" The jobs are identical, races are what they are, etc.

I had so much fun with the game last-gen i guess i kinda got enough of it without knowing.

Eh, in 1 billion years i'll be dead anyway.

It's using either some FXAA or SMAA, but as these AA are only applied on the final image, it's not sub-pixel efficient like MSAA so it glitters.
