Our videos of Strike Suit Zero

Our videos of Strike Suit Zero

Realeased a few days ago on Steam for a price of around $15/€15, Strike Suit Zero arrives on Gamersyde in its shining 1080p/60fps glory. The 2 gameplay videos are pretty big so you'll have to be patient if you want to download them but you won't find better quality out there. Whether or not you're into shoot them ups, you'll agree that the game looks and sounds great, now feel free to tell us what you think of it if you bought it.

really loving the soundtrack. it has that exotic vibe and drums that most homeworld tunes had that i was fond.

When I read Shoot em up I though it would be some kind of Gradius Style game ...argggg ! Disappointed !

But still, looks like Wing Commander in a way,not bad !

Well yes, I know it could be misunderstood, but it's not a simulation at all, it really is just about shooting things in space. :)

funnily enough I think of late 360 degree movement spaceship arcade games hasn't been done better than the spaceship mission in Halo Reach. For some odd reason it just works there - the controls, speed, the visuals.

I think this is the closest I've seen anyone come to the feeling. Definitively interested. :-)

You're playing this with gamepad ? Looks rather difficult to handle.
I imagine targeting to be a lot easier with mouse (though not as authentic as with sticks). Keeping track of that tiny little visor on the screen seems like an impossible task. Any word on the release date of the console counterparts btw ?

I am but I'm also terrible at this kind of games. ^^

I haven't heard anything about the (potential) console release.

Original Soundtrack:
Main Theme Remix (Limited Edition OST):

@Driftwood: There's even a Mac and a Linux version in the making.

About the game

What's up?
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Sath: How dare you call Ninja Gaiden Z: Yaiba garbage?! It's a Ninja Gaiden game, therefore it's great by default. Plus Ryu Hayabusa appears on it, which makes it canon. Keiji Inafune at his best! (1 minute ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Moonwalker: Rare (before Microsoft) was one of the most talented developers at the time. They were truly epic back then, sometimes I wonder what kinda of games they would have made if independent. (4 minutes ago)
  • Sath
Sath @Tiz: also Hayashi said after Yaiba garbage they were woring on NG. Probably working on "real time beard growth" under his mask lol (6 minutes ago)
  • Sath
Sath @Tiz: But from what i seen its nothing special, but since its RPG its obvious he will gain skills and moves so who knows. But there is something in the look of the combat that seems off to me. (7 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sath: I quite like how it looks. Combat looks great there, big open environments, RPG elements (we've yet to see those though) . It's an action RPG, so i assume there will be quests. It's promising. (11 minutes ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz @Sath: Exactly how I felt about Shenmue 3 reveal, great and everything, but that rough "Kill me now Ryo" is not what I wanted from a Shenmue 3, but the game is about 3-4 years out. (12 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker I had never played Grab by the Ghoulies before, but i find it quite fun. Looks damn good too. I saw a room full of trophies and two of them were Banjo and Kazooie, evil ones, lol. (13 minutes ago)
