Vanessa is soooo my favorite in this game. I just love bad ass girls in cargo clothes being all tomboy and kicking ass.

Jacky, Akira, and Kage is all I needs. However, I've also grown to love El Blaze from what I've played of the PS3 version. Good times ahead

Personally I haven't seen anything impressive about this game at all. The visuals are very similar to Virtua Fighter3 with little visual enhancements here and there. Virtua Fighter3 is pretty old now, so that's not saying very much. When it comes to backgrounds, you would think that after seeing the way Dead or Alive series does it, Sega would havr done there homework. Just look how flat the fighting grounds look, blah.

its nothing like vf3 -_- vf4 maybe, sure, but the models are alot better, but yeah, the backgrounds are just as stale as ever, shame they dont evolve the game, aswell as the graphics

other than slight variation in the gamma levels, only thing is minorly better AA in 360 one, theres no reason to expect it to be better or worse, ps3 and 360 average out at the same power house level

VF...3? I mean jeez.. at least compare it to VF4. It looks way better than VF4 too, btw. But what it really comes down to is gameplay, and Virtua Fighter has that in spades. If you're inclined to compare DOA favorably to this game, than it's probably just not for you.

backgrounds are horrible, character models are horrible, character texture effects are great, self shadowing is very nice, animation is shit. overall, disappointment. this game is over a year newer, but DOA4 still looks better. this game isn't nearly as fun either. complexity doesn't necessarily translate to more fun. VF is a prime example.

in visual terms doa4 is all over this; for sake of it, it is like game from 2 decade old arcade machine; even tekken on naomi looks better :(

Well, this is the equivalent of MACHINEGUNNING yourself in the feet. Why Sega presevere with these rubbish screenshots instead of just releasing a proper trailer is beyond me, because the game looks great in motion and these screens don't even REMOTELY convey it.

Maybe the graphics don't look that great on pics but videos I have seen looks great to me. Games are more than nice graphics... most important thing is that you have fun after all. Then again it is just me a guy who likes to play retro games and say some 8-bit games looks and sounds great even this day...

Two decade old? You can't be serious... and no, no tekken looks better in person. People also seem to be forgetting that this isn't exactly a new game either.. oh and ya know.. gameplay and all that.Me too Iso.. at least we know there will be at least two happy customers here :)

I'm getting this game since played Vf on saturn, VF: animation (genesis) and VF3:Team Battle on dreamcast <- best arcade port but Doa 2 took the crown and Soul Calibur took the Throne, must have for former VF fans or Veterans of the series cuz its on 360 for the first time, since had waiting for VF4:evo for xbox it dint make its debut.

Even you guys dint know all Naomi engines was based on Dreamcast with new upgrades, even VF 4 was planned for Dreamcast but since its death. it came on Ps2.

I have no idea what that is -- so far as I know Tekken 5 was on System 258 (which is based on Playstation 2 hardware) and Tekken 6 is based on whatever Sony's new arcade board is..

Regardless, this does not look worse than anything that runs on Naomi, or System 258, that's just ridiculous. Naomi 2 hasn't been used for a new 3D fighter since VF4. Yeah -- VF5 totally looks worse! :/

Lindbergh is way, way better than Naomi 2.. it's way better than Chihiro, it's way better than Triforce.. and the games graphics actually reflect that difference. Comparing it to any Tekken that doesn't end in 6 is really something.

Looks better than it's PS3 counterpart, as usual. And I've heard rumors that Sega will be making some 360 specific VF5 announcements at E3... come on, online! EVERYONE'S COMPLAINING, AND THE SERVERS ARE RIGHT THERE FOR YOU.
