Warriors Orochi 2 gameplay

Warriors Orochi 2 gameplay

KOEI released a sequel in the Warriors Orochi series last week, Warriors Orochi 2 on Playstation 2 and Xbox 360. Games like these are released several times a year, where they mix characters from different series they've created. You can in this one change between characters while on the field by pressing a button, but other than that it's similar to the other games. Poor graphics, embarrassing AI, and a lot of button pressing. Inside you'll find a couple of gameplay segments from the game.

Games like this need to die or heavily upgraded ( in graphics, game-play, story ) and not released several times a year. Then there might be consideration in actually buying them. I remember how I enjoyed Dinasty Warios, but about to part 4, then the yellow turban rebellion really got on my nerve.

I picked this game up a week ago and so far I like it a lot. It is my first Warriors game. I am going to pick up Samurai Warriors 2 next and buy the add-on from XBL marketplace. I like that all 90+ characters all feel different.

New fanservice character! I know they keep on making these, and I wouldn't mind them going for a new facelift, but they always seem like good rentals.

About the game

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog into black goo monstrosities that hit pretty hard. it's not ornstein and smough levels of challenge obviously, and i seem to be past it now, but easily the most unforgiving start to a souls game (29 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog and seems to have a pretty densely packed collection of tougher enemies really early on. be they red eye knights, whoever it is to the left of the shrine, the fat axe guy, regular enemies evolve (31 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog it just feels like it it doesn't ease you in as well. just throws you in at the deep end. no "trial" boss fight, where dying is almost expected. (32 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog but i've probably died more in the first 4 hours of dark souls 3 than i have in the other games combined. lol (34 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog but saying that, i hadn't played any in ages when i played bloodborne either, and that had a completely different style of combat so dunno what's going on (34 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @MikeManiac61: i've played demon's souls, dark souls's, most of dark souls 2, and bloodborne, as well as lord of the fallen with zero issues, maybe it's because i've not played one in a while. (36 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @asdfg: yea, agree. i played it on pc at 60fps. on my livingroom tv, with supersampling. it was beautiful. (3 Hours ago)
