battlefield should stick to being battlefield, hardline just didnt feel right, it should be a dlc for the next battlefield, extra modes you can choose to play, and if they want to make money off them just charge alot
I was turned off by this game after playing the recent beta. It ran at 720p on my PS4 with some of the worst aliasing ever, and lacked a smooth frame rate on my PC with a GTX780. I'm not even going to give it another chance until these conditions are greatly optimized.

But it had one main theme. A militaristic themed shooter. Tanks , helicopters , jets ,RPG's , grenades , variety of different guns, different time periods of military conflicts, large battlefields with different tactics of playstyle. Even Bad Company was military on smaller scale but that was of PS3/360 limits. But that was a positive , because maps where perfectly made for 12vs12 rush mode. 1943 was also nice experiment that was a huge success but they didn't expected it so there was no support post launch.
So about Hardline. Allot of ppl said and I'm one of them that this should not be called Battlefield. This should have been new IP , sort of replacement for Medal of Honor. Different/unique game modes , smaller but more interactive maps , full destructibility like it was in Bad Company 2, maybe even no vehicles. But there was no confidence behind what they are making or PR BS and we got Battlefield : Hardline.
P.S. wtf it even means Hardline ? did they mention in any interview ?
I hated the beta, I really see nothing about this game that seems in any way refreshing or that takes advantage of what makes the BF series so fun and special. I loved BF 3 and 4 but this just looks very bland. The SP might be better than before but the MP, from what I have seen seems to be lost.

As a BF4 player: I am glad that it's not BF4 content. There are already too many game modes in BF4. Plus we're getting more BF4 maps anyway, and an incredible line of patch support. Tonight's DICE LA play test in CTE was a riot. Battlefield 4 is in good hands. Premium edition is an amazing value. Its as good a time to jump in as ever.
I hope that Tigger and his crew have input in the design phase of Battlefield 5. I think Demize is a great designer, but he could use someone to reel him in from time to time.
DICE doesn't get enough credit for everything that's happened since BF4 launched.
