really really hyped for this...the game looks much better in motion though than in screens...Hope to see some of the absolutely massive enemies soon though....they said they were going for scale with the game

Have always been shocked what so many saw in this game, I meen the last video I've saw of this, the combat looked so terrible that I would never want to even touch it in the end, it looked very sterile and stale and just one button mashing and slow paced at that.

The game granted may be good but they need to provide quite a lot of more good info before I would consider buying this title.

TGS can't come soon enough

This game is the ONLY reason I am considering buying a PS3.

Hope they speed up the gameplay a little. I was watching some vids of an early build and the attacks and everything was like moving through a sea of molasses. And it wasn't framerate issues as far as I could tell. Of course it could be a lot different now. But here's to hoping.

Hey the 360's gone 3 years and counting without any amazing exclusives (in the JRPG dept). Everything has been just okay so far.

Are you insane? lol. I watched the ingame footage from a few games conventions of late and have to say that this looks absolutely amazing !!.

I was hyped for this when I first glanced eyes on it and am even more hyped for it now. Why they just want to release it in Japan first is obvious but surely the rest of us gamer-holics deserve a dabble too!?!.

I agree that the characters are a little lackluster, but that first demo footage is still in my mind and can't wait to see more of that seamless animation.

Don't be absurd, Blim didn't say they had to be amazing. He just said "exclusive big budget jRPG". The 360 has had plenty of those already: Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesparia, and Infinite Undiscovery to name a few. That's what's so surprising is that Sony hasn't come close to matching that yet this gen. Maybe this is the start of it though.

All I'd say is that the 360 only started gettign JRPG's quite late in it's lifecycle.

And the PS3 is starting to get them now. Do you see the parallel I am making?

Basically the technolgoy is more difficult on the PS3 and the 360 has been available to devs much longer. I am not even a tiny bit surprised that the 360 is getting more love and Sony is having trouble finding some.
