Wolverine trailer

Wolverine trailer

Activision released this trailer of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, showing a game not as agly as one could have thought. Still, it's a movie adaptation and should be treated as such: 95% chance of a very average game at best.

i can see some insane God of War style combo sequences for this game..

hopefully it should be good, wolverine is one of the most loved x-men characters and capturing his animal feral nature is difficult for a game.

and to this day i can't figure out why...
to me, he's one of the lamest x-men, if not the lamest. this game does nothing for me.

Wolverine is kind of overpowered as he constantly heals himself which I don't think makes for a balanced game. Plus, I really prefer when they base comic characters on comic source material instead of movies, like the new Batman game does.

check out the 90s X-Men animated show, it really showed off what an awesome character he is..

Wolverine is just one of those guys who doesn't give a crap..he'll just go for it! plus, his tale is a tragic one..

i dunno it's the anti-hero thing, he has the potential to be a great gaming character like solid snake or kratos, but it all depends on the developer really and the source material they use

tbh, wolverine is the perfect character for the current trend of regenerative health. at least with wolverine the mechanic actually makes sense, lol

wolverine kicks ass tho, but i can imagine the game will be typical half assed hack and slash movie game quality. which is a shame, since the character deserves more tbh.

Well come on give Raven a chance they haven't made a really bad X-Men game, so maybe it will be half decent. Saying that i think Batman will be better but i hope both games will be awesome :D

it looks better than I expected but still I fear it will be another shitty game based on a movie license.

My mind was made up about this game the second he deflected a rocket using his claws

I read a hands-on preview of this that sounded awesome and the videos I've seen seem to back that up. I know that often websites hype up even the worst games in previews and then go on to trash them in their reviews but this just sounded genuinely great.

Can you say "QTE"?

I dunno why people are hating against this game just for being "another movie game" when its been made clear that its not just any movie game so far.

That's the thing, no one knows for sure. If we've learnt anything from the past, 90% of movie licensed games just aren't very good. We don't KNOW that this one is or isn't going to break away from that stereotype and it's very easy for a game to just 'look' good in a trailer. I remember being quite excited about the Transformers game but that turned out to be the biggest POS I'd ever played in the end.

The best thing about the Transformers game was the transforming animations.

In the interview on Inside XBOX they say'd they wanted the player to do it and not just be QTE, so no QTE for this game. If they keep to there word
