Perfect Dark Zero showcases seven new images, far from the "hot" stuff we were expecting to see. Anyway, I suppose we'll know for sure if we have to cry or to celebrate in a few hours.
I don't see what there is to be worried about, chances are these are old or the game just doesn't like being frozen...I mean we've all seen the movies, they are gorgeous. As far as I'm concerned, the only things we need to worry about is if the AI is actually any good, and what the physics is supposed to be like...
I agree with Johnlennon on that one........those shots look Great to me......those are still shots guys......and they're not even high res........Rare will not dissappoint.
Resized like this these images look far better, or rather they hint at the possibility that images sporting more exciting locales could look awesome. It's just a matter of time before we find out now.

Please, give me a break. We're the 4th of October, so these are X05 images. And I saw some recent (september) ingame stuff in video, and I can tell that these images reflect exactly what the game will look like.
The funny thing is, FAR CRY: Instincts on Xbox 1 looks just as good, if not better than some of these screen shots. Im still waiting to be impressed RARE!!!!

In reply to why some screenshots are being posted on games, because it's called X05 media day and not all are so lucky to have total access to all games and all developers on a 24/7/365 basis, therefore maybe some are a little behind. And maybe these screens are a little different or a better angle or a better resoulution.
I still can't beleive that RARE is releasing two epic launch games, i mean from not releasing anything for a couple years to putting out two games, that are each on their own massive undertakings, for launch!? Somewhere there must be compromise.
So far I would say Kameo is looking better than PDZ.
theres no way those shots are awsome but i am prepared to wait for a video or 720p shots before passing judgement but at the moment it look worce than far cry
With no offense to anyone specific, let us not get too wrapped up in the precision of visuals (this dovetails with my earlier comments on 60fps vs 30fps), while greater visuals are of course a benefit, I'll reference GoldenEye on the N64 as evidence that cutting edge visuals is not a necessary component for a great game.
I'm personally not sure that I'm getting PDZ at launch, and I agree that Kameo is looking better than PDZ as of late, but I think Rare has the capability of making a great game even if the visuals are not the most bleeding edge.
Having said that, I think at this point the best visuals I've seen on the system so far is from 2K6. If those are indicative of gameplay visuals, we are going to have a lot of titles across the board that seem hit or miss visually come this fall. The separations between the best visuals and the worst will be very apparent I think.
Looks like xbox? As the quality of PD0 and Kameo is similar, here's your task. Google for Kameo on xbox and compare them to the screenshots of the 360 version. Conveniently there are some shots of identical locations from both versions. It should be obvious that comments like "looks like xbox" are being made by fools.
