PC games still looking like PC games shocker!
I'm 100% ok with that though, by all means Dice is busy supporting BF2 and developing special forces--I doubt they've the time to focus on porting it to the 360. Nevermind that anyway, just release 1.03 already!
If nothing else, this will give some people who don't own a gaming rig a chance to play a great franchise..even if it is a slightly different take on it.
This is one realm where PC's still reign supreme...times are a'changing, sure...hell give me kb/m support and maybe I won't even care.
All of BF2's commander/squad features.
Scalable maps, 16/32/64p versions preferably.
Three armies, the same kits as the PC version.
Unlocks (but god damnit, make them sensible this time).
Last but not least:
Strike at Karkand.
Come on now..what would bf2 be without urban combat at it's finest :)
Ya know, I won't judge EA games until they are finished, but I must say that I fear for the Xbox360 version of Burnout, I mean I know I probably shouldn't but I am, every EA next gen game I see looks bad to me, except those recent ones, so it may be ok........................... I hope.
It's wierd, Burnout3 and 4 are two of the best looking games on the Xbox, but the way things are looking with EA, that won't be the case for the 360 Burnout.
It will be a different development team though I'm sure, so maybe just maybe we'll be in luck with that game.
and as for BF, it better be like the pc version in order to be good, cause the xbox demo of MC SUX
If they want Criterion to make Burnout: The Crazy Frog Edition that's what we'll get.
Oh and in that case we may also need to KILL OURSELVES.
Battlefield 2 on PC looks better than this, but to be fair, i imagine this console iteration will actually be MORE FUN! and easier to pick up and play, WITHOUT THE BUGS!
They'll release a game. It won't be bug free--hell, it'll probably get patched--but it won't get the support the PC game is getting. And while fun is completely subjective, I doubt you'll be finding many BF2 players making a change to modern combat--unless they're looking for training wheels.

Ahhhhh shut up already. Because BF2 is soooooooo complicated. Get in the jeep, shoot. Get in the chopper, shoot. Get in the tank, shoot. So complexe. And if your talking about giving out orders then that not complicated either. Point and click. Just like shooting. So stop with your BS please.

And no, BF2 is not a run and gun, point and shoot sort of game...if you're trying to imply that piloting a heli is intuitive, than you've been playing a different game all together. This game is demanding of the player, possibly one of the most demanding FPS games to date--to imply that the game is all, "Get in jeep, shoot" and that's all there is too it..well, that's just naive.
I play this game daily, I'm a big fan of the franchise..plenty of people are asking why they ported this game and not the PC version--and well, it's for people like you, who just love to over-simplify things.
No need to get offensive, it's just a game.
This Version here looks at least good, but not next-gen.
