Xbox 360

It's Bioshock's turn to get a 100% CG trailer from the Marketplace. And even with CG, this game still rocks.
Update: 720p version. As a reminder, we are now using the latest version of the WMV9/VC1 codec. You can download it at the top of the video download page. The latest versions of ffmpeg/VLC support this codec natively on Linux/MAC platforms.

Finally some site got the trailer. And this trailer was mindblowing, yes it was CGI but I didn't care. It only wanted to show that Little Sisters are nothing to be messed with, poor guy getting majorly skewered like that. OUCH! Thanks BlimBlim for the direct feed.

This was one of the most intense, gory, sadistfying CGI trailer for the 360 I have seen. BioShock is a must buy for every FPS and RPG lover and a 360 owner.

The only two shooters to ever get my attention were Halo and Metroid Prime. This may be the third! After seeing the demo and this awesome trailer, I'm just about sold

I'm so excited for this game, that I can't even find words strong enough to express how I feel. You need to have played the games before this one (SystemShock 1 & 2) to truely understand the game's ground breaking mechanics. SystemShock 2 was one of the only games that really scared me with its macbre, dark, scary enviornments, enemies and characters. Looks like BioShock isn't straying too far from the best!

Maybe it's my background in biology/genetics, but the storyline just doesn't make sense. Rapture was founded in the forties (hence the architecture), but DNA wasn't discovered until the fifties, and we're only just now able to manipulate it. And "plasmids"? Certainly "transposon" would be a more fitting term... just little niggling things like that.

I wonder why they went with CG... the in-game graphics of the demo were quite serviceable.

This is the finest CG trailer ever released. I downloaded it on xbox live and cranked up the surround sound. It just looks and sounds great.

The full Lost Odyssey trailer they released at TGS (not the one they released today) comes in a close second.

Wow !

And as for the style, i've heard it's going to be more like SS2 and Deus Ex, an RPG FPS, my cup of tea.

VC1 Codec?

Just wait, in a couple months we will be running the x264 H.264 codec for ultimate compression
