Xbox Live Arcade this week

Xbox Live Arcade this week

The Arcade scene gets interesting this week, with the release of the big title Battlestar Galactica and Taitos game Exit. The latter is released on PSP and got pretty good review scores, while the former is very much online based. Images of both titles can be found inside.

I'm gay for Galactica so I foresee a purchase however good/bad it is. They incorporated the Newtonian physics from what I have seen so at least we can pull the awesome strafing manouevers

Might be getting exit. I'll at least try the demo. The battle star galactica game though...no i don't think so. Never liked space combat much.

Next looks pretty cool, it's like what i'd imagine a vector based game that is not flash would look like :P

According the Exit's Xbox.com page it states Exit has 120 levels, instead of 220 as you can read in the above quotation from the press release. Seems more right and accurate with the PSP version, that had about that amount of stages, in mind. Just a heads-up.

When are we going to get Undertow? That game was reviewed by OXM in August but we have yet to receive it. It may be the best XBLA game we receive since it scored a 9.0.

220 levels actually puts me off, I want less!! I think its after playing portal I have fallen for short games in a big way.

You want less for your money lol?

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @aphex187: Exactly man. I would be very ok if they go this way from now on, but they want because they simply just can't all be R-rated. (1 Hour ago)
  • aphex187
aphex187 @Moonwalker: These R-rated super hero movies is what the genre needed and Logan is a testament to that! FOTY so far for me. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I spent way too much time reading about Amiga mods tonight. (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: Yup. Oh and I can't forget to mention how dark it is, and that story, real nice. The dynamic between Jackman and Stewart was superb too. (10 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Moonwalker: I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, Wolverine in the comics was always bloody, savage and ruthless. Something the previous movies never did, probably to stay PG-13 - suitable for teens. (10 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @digi_matrix: Looking very forward to it. But no spoilers please. Now I know I will most likely cry at the end. (Which is never a bad thing.) (10 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @droezelke: No problem, in games like Edith Finch what's most important is story, characters and world settings. It's like movies or a very short TV show/mini series, gameplay isn't as important. (10 Hours ago)
