How's the frame rate on the Xbox One? I'm wondering if the PS4's 1080p fps problems are sorted at the Xbox One's 900p.

worse. but only by about 4 or 5 frames (drops as low as 20FPS). no parallax mapping either, but it does have better AF...that's the only thing going for this version.

The problem with both versions is not the low frame-rate itself but rather frame-pacing. Read the Digital Foundry article for technical details. I hope they will realese some kind of patch to repair this.

yeah, NFS rivals had something similar but i can't say i noticed it in that game, i do notice it in thief though. sometimes it's perfectly smooth, other times it has a slight judder. i find the loading stutter more annoying though. you can enter a new area via a window and it just turns into a slide show. i don't notice the shitty AF either. but i think that's due to the general high fog and grimy grey-ness. and if it is indeed an engine issue of the parallax mapping and AF being an "either or" situation. then personally i prefer the added depth to the walls and cobbled streets due to the parallax mapping. but that's just me.

i'm loving the game though. very good stealth game and it's surprisingly long, i'm at about 16 hours now and still have a third of the random jobs to do, 2 more client jobs and 5 more chapters of the story. not to mention the collectables. content wise it's great.

I love the game too. There's even trophy/achievement for playing this longer than 15 hours ;)

Is there any point in having 1080p60 stream in the beta player if the game is 1080p30?

Yes, much like the Titan Fall trailer, it seems a little redundant to have that option, but, well, at least you have the option there, and what a fine option to have, no? Thanks to Gamersyde and the people that run it.
