Replace this idiotic character to badass Ryu Hayabusa in arcade mode and sell it cheap as a seperate mode for PC or Ps4 and i probably buy it. That will be the closest thing to 2D NG we will get since NES.

But other than that, game looks like shit and i am not a big fan of its humorless humor, too corny.
Though i will definitely watch anything as long as Ryu is in it.

The "8-bit" stuff doesn't resemble actual 8-bit art in the slightest. All they've done is scale down an image with filtering turned off. It's lazy in the extreme.

Yeah, watching the trailer again and it's rather crap.

MrWhite Not "Here, you can have it all and become a god that can knock over a 30 tonne beast!" Had to be a balance there. There wasn't one. (56 minutes ago)

MrWhite having a perk slot system too. Only being able to equip a couple to suit what kind of style you want to play as. (58 minutes ago)

MrWhite Little things that could have elevated the game from being just 'OK' to deserving the praise it got. (1 Hour ago)

MrWhite another solution for repetitive combat and progression is a weapon maintenance system, sparser ammo, and making each machine have a unique invulnerability to certain attacks. (1 Hour ago)

MrWhite A simple solution would have been a command wheel function for overridden machines. Attack, defend, stay, suicide attack, follow etc (1 Hour ago)

MrWhite the maps design didn't facilitate it. Like I say, poor design everywhere. (1 Hour ago)

MrWhite @Tiz: I just think its sloppy AI coding, and just a general lack of want of doing it that way. One other reason is the on rails system for automatic riding (1 Hour ago)
