yup, watched about 2 minutes, dont want anything spoiling tbh. from what i saw tho, they should drop the humour from time to time. he was in some creepy crypt thing and there was an NPC spouting funny one liners. kinda killed the atmosphere a bit. cant wait to play it tho, and since LBP has been delayed a week or so, i should have time to clock fable 2 and move on to that when its released

Yeah...the humour is definitely not something I look forward to in Fable. It's not exactly subtle...or all that funny...so it can tend to be a bit cheesy... but not in a good way.

i like it in towns, where you expect a lot of banter. imo it all adds to the games unique style. but when your in some creepy area and you hear "your face looks like the contents of my slop bucket" its a bit of an atmosphere killer.

It's not that I don't think there shouldn't be humourous banter in the game, but I've never really been big on British humour, so I'm anticipating it being a tad painful at times.

Are you kidding me, i watched about 5mins last night and it was amazing, i loved the combat as well, he was teleporting around and using magic attacks / sword attacks and ranged attacks all together it looked really cool.

Some guys got the game early and they've been posting some impressions the last couple of days, really funny stuff!

One guy who's got the game:

I'm just playing on medium, and I beat it earlier today. I clocked between 9 and 10 hours I think. I may give it another go to get everything upgraded and all that, or I might play it through on hard, but with Fable 2, Far Cry 2, GH:WT, GoW2, Fallout 3 and lord knows what else coming out, I might be hard pressed to find the time :P

I heard another difficulty gets unlocked once you beat it on medium?
I decided to go for Hard after it was said you can't change difficulty after you beat it
I think I am about 11 hours, should be over shortly
I have died so many fucking times on this difficulty level, it's insane

So I have played maybe 5 hours or so, and all I have done so far is get married, have a baby, master blacksmithing, and done maybe one or two missions. Also I have bought about 6 shop carts in Bowerstone and filled my house with the top expensive furniture.
My dog is changing in an interesting way since I'm using so much magic, lightning and raising dead

There's no mana levels this time around though... you just have a health bar so you have infinite magic. Not sure how I feel about it
Infinite ammo with weapons too
