And Bravely Default for the 3DS apparently won't see a USA release till 2014, but I suspect GTA would still have a shot even if that wasn't the case, because of the incredible level of replayability in those damn games. I've never actually ever gotten tired of playing a GTA title. Neither have I ever gotten tired of screwing up a mission. There's so much to do.

LOL. You got me there. Those games, especially the first, really do creep me the hell out. I remember trying the demo on the 360, and that dude that was banging on top of the elevator or whatever it was that I used to get inside Rapture was pretty creepy. Don't even get me started on those creepy little girls and all the other weirdos scattered throughout the game lol.

You are doing yourself a disservice by not playing bioshock games. They are incredible, creepy or not.

I know, I think I might have talked about this before with both you and Phaeth. Even before the release of the first Bioshock, I was already put off by the creepiness factor. I almost didn't get Alan Wake for a similar reason, but I ended up sucking it up and took the plunge, a decision I'm very glad I made.

It's why, for example, I could never finish or play through the earliest resident evil games. Whenever I tried my luck, here comes the licker or a dog busting through a window, and I was like, "Welp, screw this, I've had enough," and shut off the games immediately.

Hopefully I'll manage the courage to give them a chance one of these days.

You all need to stop telling him to play Bioshock. I will not have him ruin this for me too. I told him to read a Halo book once, thinking he had played the games. He never had, and then overnight he became this Halo fanatic so engrossed in the story.

Nailed it :P And Phaethon is more or less spot on lol. He's the one that convinced me to read Fall of Reach and pretty much any Halo book written by Eric Nylund, and once I did, I went from a person that had literally zero interest in the Halo games or the Halo universe, to being absolutely hooked to the fiction, which is what led me to finally give the games a legitimate chance to make a believer out of me. Early on, it wasn't Halo CE itself convincing me to keep playing on, it was all the extra information that I had learned about the characters and the universe through the books. I went from not thinking there was very much special at all about the Chief and his armor, to now having a whole new level of appreciation for both the armor and what the man himself actually was, because it was explained in such great detail in the books that I came away very impressed and intrigued about where things would go. With motivation from the books, I learned to appreciate Halo's gameplay at a very base level, and before I knew it, I literally fell in love with everything about the gameplay.

This might sound really cheesy, but I'm one of those gamers that likes to actually believe I'm the main character. Like, not in a joke sense, but I really actually believe I'm in there. When I play through a mission of Halo, I don't just see it as me playing some level in a game, but as me literally reading about this same battle in detail in a book, and in order to get to the next page, I have to play on. This reading a book analogy also sorta translates to jrpgs, too. Except in the case of a jrpg, I see it as watching an anime or reading a manga that I enjoy. For all other types of games besides Halo and jrpgs, that analogy goes out the window completely, I see everything else more like watching movies. Bioshock, to me, is a movie I would literally jump at the opportunity to watch, but I'm not so bold as to ever actually want to imagine myself being in that situation.

It is a frightening and claustrophobic situation, but in a good way. I ended up not feeling scared but amazed and in awe.

I had forgotten how creepy a series Bioshock really is.

Somehow with Infinite I just assumed by the sky environment it would not be so scary/creepy. It proved me wrong however

Here is the list of users who credited Halo 4 and are to blame for these results

Phaethon360 Halo 4 (ranked 4th) - what are you doing
fabreezewait ranked it 1st
blackhawkODSTranked it 4th - surprise surprise!
americandesi 1st - I claim this is possibly an OP fake account, having never seen this user
sanex 1st
optimus 1st
manthatyoufear 1st - He also put Lego LOTR at 2nd, so I don't know how many games he actually saw last year...
padje 2nd
archaos 6th- probably disqualified it
dacs 1st
frozpot 2nd
Lebato 3rd
jin187 1st
Driftwood 4th
Miguel 3rd

I'd also like to point out that I am a traitorous swine who licks his own genitalia when no one else is in the room
Haven't played Halo 4 (or finished 3 lol), so this is good to know who are the Halo fans up in here.

Dishonored i find boring.
Far Cry 3.. down right horrible.
