Damn those character models are impressive. Seeing textures on the guy's back in third vid after girl kisses him is just wow. Almost can't believe it's real-time, but I know it is.

It probably still is, but they just forgot to mention it during the 2 recent demos they've shown.

Also, I wish they should more of Kaim or at least mixed it up with him in the demos. In the 2 recent demos that they've shown, they only used that one single attack for Kaim, like everytime! I know he can use magic, since he used it in the demo from last year. Mix that stuff up damn it!

Oh and they fixed the crappy looking CG version of Kaim we saw in the TGS 06 demo. Remember how crappy the CG version looked compared to the real-time one? I assume, since I've seen later cg cutscenes where kaim's cg counterpart looks much improved, I'll assume they fixed the one at beginning of the game too. From what I can see thus far they've done a great job all around.

Great Character Modeling & Design

Great Animation during battles and cutscenes (love seeing parts of the characters move be it something they're holding or part of their outfit.)

Great special effects (spells look great)

Great textures (really surprised me at times)

Great Camera positioning (Really love some of the angles I'm seeing)

Great English Voice Acting and lip syncing.

Great Art Direction.

Great Music.

Loving it all.

Also on the oof screen demo in the top left hand cormer it had a line of text saying 'Lighting need to be fixed' so expect it to look much better once done.

More than anything I'm glad this game has some real meaty looking attacks and spells, something I think Blue Dragon lacked.

I Agree, Apart from the corpeal moves, blue dragon lacked these special looking attacks that really looked damaging.

The game better have summons! I always thought some of the beasts they showed off in the first Jump Fiesta trailer were some of the summons in the game :p

I bet its hard for Sakaguchi to make a game without it being considered a Final Fantasy rip off.

Many already think this, yet many of those people don't realise he is the man behind Final Fantasy.

I would pretty much bet on it that there are no summons.

Yea I doubt there will be summons in this game, but I pray there will atleast something that qualifies as a limit break ability by some of the characters. Then again judging by the sheer number of characters I wonder if we'll be seeing atleast 2 limit break type abilities per character much less 3 or 4? Going to assume probably not.

If there are, we probably wont see them till Lost Odyssey's big November showing. If there aren't any though then I suppose I'll learn to live with it, but I'm sure they will be in future Mistwalker followup titles following the first 3 (Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Cry On) Blue Dragon had some limit breaks, but one per character which I think is understandable considering the story.

He also took out 4 gaurds in one hit in the demo, not so much limit breaks, probably more like individual moves, which you acquire as you level up, something like weapon skills.

True how stupid of me I completely forgot those things. Thinking of it more like that I see no reason why they couldn't include quite a number of those character specific moves. Even Seth was shown using one of her own specific moves in the pre TGS ms press conf.

I don't follow Japanese games really only from the periphery, but I occasionally like to see graphically what these games are doing... Heavenly Sword, Square games, Wii games, etc. This game looks very cool. I'm very impressed with this title graphically. Hopefully it delivers on the story/gameplay side, and appeals to the Japanese audience. If it has very good gameplay and looks this good, and the Japanese continue to pan the 360, then they deserve not to have it. Kudos the the developer on making a fine looking game. Is this game similar in gameplay to Gods of War and Heavenly Sword? Sorry I'm a total novice when it comes to Japanese games.

it's a Turn-Base RPG. If you've seen any Blue Dragon videos, yeah it's that same system pretty much.
