Very nice its pretty ironic that he risked his life like that for someone he had only just met for the first time. He sacrificed his life with the intention to save the life of a man whom he didn't know could not die at all because he was an immortal.

If that is any indication of what I can expect from the book I really look forward to reading that book (well I was looking forward to it anyway)

To be honest, They need to do more. Sure they had Blue Dragon, now Lost Odyssey and later Cry On (If it's still on!) but they need a lot more than just these three. add to the above list, Inifite Undiscovery which is partly published between Square and MS.

MS game Studios need to lock in more JRPGs and dont just rely on third part publishers.

Well as far as I'm aware the advertising has been seriously lacking for this game, in Japan and over here.

The game is out in just over a weeks time in Japan and there is no hype what so ever.

Sad really, at least I'm hyped for a week on thursday :D

I have a feeling this will sell WAY BETTER than Blue Dragon. Mark my words, it'll be 100k-130k First Week (Blue Dragon 80K first weej) followed by a 30-40k for the second week.

LO feels more 'mature' than BD. BD was fun but I suppose for our 'age', it may appear a little bit too whimsical or nostalgic. LO is going for an older demographic. Can't wait to play LO. I hope the Japanese version has English support or the Asian ver gets released around the same time.

Quite frankly, I don't care about reviews anymore either. I'm curious about the plot of LO...which is the real draw of a JRPG for me.

Your probably right Alimo but thats only because there are more consoles in Japan now than last year this time.

JP version doesn't have English subs sadly, Asian version is out in Jan, English version Feb.

Not necessarily. It just seems to me that a more matue JRPG always appeals to japanease more except for Dragon Quest which is just a phenomenn out there. I hear Dragon Quest 4 Remake for the DS has sold almost 500k on the first day. Just AMAZING!
