Rock Band

EA recently unleashed Rock Band in Germany, UK and France, while the rest of Europe have to wait a couple of months for it. Here's an interview from XCN with both the producer and senior designer, explaining how they pick songs, if there will be "Folk Band" or "Opera Band" in the future and much much more.

Electronic Arts finally announced that Rock Band would be released in Europe on May 22/23 (depending on the country), but only on Xbox 360. I guess the PS2/PS3 and Wii versions will wait for Q3/Q4. No pricing announced yet, but if the guys over at IGN UK are right we are in for a world of pain. Screens inside.

Sony also released a video montage of some of the most important non-exclusive third party games on the PS3. A good way to get a first look at these games.

Rock Band is also having it's own gallery, with newly rumours swarming around it - could it really be an Xbox 360 exclusive? We'll wait and see, and after playing Guitar Hero for the first time yesterday, I'm looking forward to see what this one has to offer.
