In 10 days, the new DLC of Mafia 2 will finally be available to all on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Entitled Joe's Adventure, it will show us what happened to Joe when Vito was sent into jail for a few years and it will also take us to unexplored areas of Empire Bay.

To all DLC lovers, you should be pleased to hear that Mafia 2 will extend its main story with a new adventure focused on Joe Barbado, Vito Scaletta's best friend. The player will be able to find out what happened during the several years they spent apart from each other. I won't say more but be warned that there is a major spoiler in the press release.
Mafia 2 was launched about a week ago, and it hit the stores without earning the unanimous support of the specialist press. Ever divergent opinions accrued on the Internet to the great displeasure of slightly unsettled forum members. But we are not pretending to offer the most reliable and downright compelling review here since subjectivity is the key word. Subjectivity is greatly defined by one’s personal expectations of this new adventure with the Mafia. In order to let you discover the game on your own – and thoroughly enjoy it – we will obviously avoid revealing anything about the storyline. In the same line of thinking, the videos will only contain a scanty amount of information on the scenario. So you can rest assured: there is nothing now to prevent you from losing yourself reading this new review.
Kudos to Balita who was very helpful by translating this article.

We are running a bit late but I'm just back from a well-deserved vacation so I'm sure you'll forgive us for waiting until today to show you a bunch of videos taken from the Mafia 2 video that was released on August 10. The console versions are clearly not as sharp and smooth as the PC version but they are still doing a good job at conveying the great atmosphere of the game and no matter what some people think, they are very enjoyable to play despite some aliasing and framerate issues. I chose to cut the demo in three different vidéos so we will logically start with the first one this morning. Two more will come later today, enjoy! Update: Part 2 and part 3 are now up.
It's performance related. Also, people underestimate the point of correct calibration. Having the 3d just off slightly for your eyes can cause bad eye strain, thus leading to nausea. (49 minutes ago)
I think motion sickness can be alleviated in future to the point where it won't be that much of a deal breaker. I noticed playing on Pro is a hell of a lot more comfortable than the standard PS4. (50 minutes ago)
And that's entirely possible. I can imagine RE8 being that way. Having to physically aim down iron sights to get a headshot on a zom would be immense, but scary as fuck. (52 minutes ago)
As good as RE7 was in VR, it could have been even better if they had a control scheme for it that allowed for free hand movement interaction. (53 minutes ago)
Capcom have since said they are setting up a team to focus more on VR stuff, which is promising. (54 minutes ago)
i'd love for the game to have a combat system as deep as DMC3 or even GOW. with a traversal system that actually uses some skill to land jumps and move around. (54 minutes ago)
@Sdarts: i did. i didn't like it. traversal become even more tedious having to grapple gun everywhere due to wide streets and combat still had dudes taking turns to kill you. (56 minutes ago)
