The First 10 Minutes: Quantum of Solace

Activision unleashed James Bond: Quantum of Solace on all major platforms last week, and here for your enjoyment is the First 10 Minutes of the game. I was hoping for something good, but it left me quite disappointed. Treyarch put in tons of features, but the majority of them works poorly.

Quantum of Solace trailer

Tokyo Game Show 08 is officially over and it's time to move on to the regular stuff. One thing that has surprised me lately is the fact that companies are releasing launch trailers earlier and earlier. James Bond: Quantum of Solace is one month away from being released, but here's that trailer anyway.

James Bond: QoS PC demo released

Activision yesterday released a PC demo of James Bond: Quantum of Solace , and Ve3tro of our forums sent us a bunch of nice images from the game. I've read both positive and negative impressions of the demo, specially the graphics have been widely discussed so I can't wait to try out a console demo myself.

GC08: Quantum of Solace gameplay

James Bond: Quantum of Solace is playable at Activision's booth, and it actually doesn't seem too bad. Sorry about the low quality video.
Update: Added another video, quite a bit better looking and interesting.

Images of Quantum of Solace

Activision releases five new images of the adaptation of the next 007, James Bond : Quantum of Solace. Graphically, it's a bit disappointing. Let's hope we'll see and know more of the game during E3.

Artworks of James Bond

Earlier this week, Activision launched the official website for the James Bond : Quantum of Solace videogame, based on the movie that will hit theaters in November. Not many details are known as of now, except that the main character will be Daniel Craig and that the story will also cover a bit of Casino Royale. Here is an artworks compilation (thanks Tiscali) as seen with the Flash animation on the website, which reveal some of the levels; Miami, Bolivia, London, Lake Como, Venice, Austrich, Siena and Montenegro.

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (22 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (26 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (28 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (28 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (38 minutes ago)
  • callmekymbo
callmekymbo is DA on the 360 really that bad? I can't run it on my pc so the eggbox is my only viable alternative (1 Hour ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Wow, deja vu. (1 Hour ago)
