Dark Sector

I know I say it as every damn Diaries comes out, but - hey ! It's been a long time since the last one ! Never again, we promise ! So, for this brand new Gamersyde Diaries, we've spent some quality time with the sharp-edged Dark Sector, Digital Extreme's Gears of War clone that went out yesterday in Europe and a few weeks earlier in the United-States. The day we shot the show there was heavy rain over Paris, so please don't make our troubles worthless and watch it - twice !

Koch Media sent us the review disc of Dark Sector (which will be available in europe at the end of the week), and here are the ten first minutes of the game, before our Gamersyde Diaries which is coming next. The video covers the full introduction chapter, entirely in black and white as you'll see.

This game has come a long way since the announcement a couple of years back, but D3 Publisher and Digital Extremes are now ready to release Dark Sector on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 at the end of this month. Today we have a trailer, showing some gameplay elements from the game.

The multiplayer mode of Dark Sector gets a new images gallery, some of them not really new, but still looking quite nice.

D3Publisher has today revealed more details about the multiplayer modes in Dark Sector, as well as some screenshots from it. The game, which also features bots, is planned to be released at the end of March.

D3 and Digital Extremes release some new images of Dark Sector. I have zero confidence in the quality of this game but I have to admit that, except for the terrible main character, the screens look quite cool.

Digital Extremes releases an action montage of Dark Sector, its cheap Gears of War clone. It doesn't look very exciting to me.

D3 and Digital Extremes release a new teaser of Dark Sector. Only composed of gameplay captures and ingame cinematics, this teaser trailer allows us to get a look at the game's quite good graphics.

D3 has released a new webisode video about Dark Sector, presenting some more of the story mixed with gameplay clips. We never put up part 1 of the webisode, so you'll find that one too inside.
