For an open world game they're insane.

It's a cutscene though, they can crank it up like other in-engine cutscenes (Uncharted, MGS 4, etc).

You can usually tell when they're 'cranked up', I'm pretty sure that wasn't. Just compare it to the announcement trailer which was 'in-engine'.

Do their marketing for them! It's not a pyramid scheme, honest!

Not exactly blowing my mind, but i hope this indicates the actual game has deformable snow. Aside from that there isnt much to take away from the teaser that i didnt know already.

Recently playing JOURNEY, goddamn at that snow segment. Brilliant, what an enduring walk.

So what is this "unlock" bullshit?
It's some shitty facebook thing isn't it?
Fuck that hype i don't even have a facebook account, ill just wait until it's uploaded on youtube.

Also kind of unimpressed by the visuals, blocky environments, plain textures and crummy looking vegitation even for an open world game, but i guess the cities will look better outdoor environments have never been a stong point of the asscreed series.
Still really looking forward to this, i have been longing for a proper sequel.

i hope there won't be in game screen tearing, as it was on the other ones, my eyes don't suport that lol no really its something i didn't like on this gen consel.

now this is the complete opposite of the lukewarm GoW3.5 teaser, loving the snow.

There will be, and massive amounts of it.

I'll have to go with less. It's going to be a vastly more unpopulated and city-less game this time around. You should chance the screen-tearing factor and add the pop-up(trees).

Except for the devs being able to put thousands of NPCs on screen. At pax they showed connor in the middle of the battle of bunker hill.

It's nice that they're doing something different this time, but I can't help but feel the choice of location is dull and uninteresting. There is some concept art floating around of an Assassins game set in ancient China or Japan, now that could really have been something interesting.

my eyes have adjusted to this current gen for too long hehe -- i remember first time I saw Assassins Creed rumoured to be a PS3 exclusive! I was SO IMPRESSED. hehe but not anymore :( - its time for new console thrills - MEEEOOW!!

I have never played any of the creed games. There is something about them that just feels uninspired to me. I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

But I must say this one seems like it could be interesting.

Gamers constantly whine about no one focusing on gameplay and then so little of the discussion is on the gameplay.

amerakindesi @Tiz: halo 6 should incorporate all the halo species to date. Humans, covenant, brutes, flood, forerunner & also introduce a new species (7 Hours ago)
  • amerakindesi
amerakindesi @Tiz: halo 5 was a disaster storywise. Only way they can fix halo 6 is to drop that other spartan and focus only on master chief (7 Hours ago)
  • amerakindesi
amerakindesi @Tiz: i love the anniversary mockups. For the true fans to enjoy the classics with a modern feel. (7 Hours ago)

Tiz Anyway, it's early days. The next time we hear about Halo after Halo Wars 2 will be E3, and it will either be H3: Anniversary or a Halo 6 trailer and my money is on H3: A. (10 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz The H6 campaign I meant. (10 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz @amerakindesi: I liked 4's campaign as well, 5 was a massive misstep and while Joe isn't necessary for the H5 campaign to be good, I think he is necessary for it to be epic. (10 Hours ago)
  • amerakindesi
amerakindesi To be frank though I loved halo 1, halo 2, halo 3, halo 4 campaigns in that order. 4 was my fav. (10 Hours ago)
