Great animation, nice freerunning on trees and indoors.
But it didnt make me go "wow" since there was no proper gameplay, too much camera edit work.

It was nice, but I will wait until E3 until they show a walkthrough.
I played too much AC and after AC2 I pretty much got exremely bored with the series.
This game does have interesting new features though.

One thing which Ubi might have rather missed - one of the biggest games markets in the world is Britain, and from the trailer it appears you spend a good amount of your time murdering Brits.

The lack of Ambient Occlusion kinda kills it for me, but the AC games have never been about the graphics....also looks like the lighting and motion blur took a hit, as both are absent here.

Looks alot like the last game visually, but with more characters on screen. Not really digging the setting at all. But i'll give it a rent like i have the previous titles...probably not like it much like the previous titles either. AC + RDR open expanses sounds like a horrible mix to me. We'll see...

What were you expecting? The old machines have been maxed out...there's only so much you can do with 512 mb ram (probably less since some is "reserved" for the OS) and 2005 era graphic technology.

I am sure we will get some killer new IP from Ubisoft once PS4 and Xbox Durango launch in the year 2013

Germany is by now the biggest European Video Game Market and yet there are a whole lot of Games where you have nothing else to do than kill Germans. Doesn't really bother me as a German, since it's just a Game.

Amazing stuff. I am so glad that they changed the setting to that period in time and the place where it all happens. Ass Creed I and II, Brotherhood and Revelations (which was the best of the series to me), were so alike. But this looks different and a lot more epic. Those sequences where there is a huge battle is some amazing programming at work. First time since Ass Creed II that I look forward to an Ass Creed game.

I dunno really, seeing as there is barely anything to render in the environment (just an expanse of green or white) i thought they would be free to improve on things a bit. I'd rather they did that then increase the enemy count tbh. If the combat is largely the same, imagine fighting those hundred characters, all of them getting in line to attack you individually. It'd take FORVEVER to kill them all. I do hope the combat and traversal are better this time, they got old half way through the very first game imo. One of many reasons i didnt enjoy the subsequent games. The core mechanics felt old.

Yeah cos Brits believe its fun to shoot a pedestrian in the face in GTA, but killing an invading force with a british accent? That's when the old moral conscience kicks in :p

That trailer was pretty damn sweet, amazing animation as always and i am starting to like the setting more and more, it will be nice to see how they handle the large scale battles.They said that you no side of the civil war will be portrayed as "the bad guys", my guess is that you will spend the majority of game games slaughtering hundreds of british soldiers,commander and generals only to have a plot twist where one comic book evil us general/politician turns out to be a bad guy, just to "balance" things out.
Me i don't mind butchering some brits, it's only fair after the thousands upon thousands of nazis(germans) i have killed over the years, i'm so so sorry fritz!Hahaha yeah good too see my bro haywagon has got my back again.
