nice trailer but they should focus on the important things like BOOBS that MOVE ! :)) Preordered this ... 1 week to go ...
They won't ever disassociate themselves with the DOA = boobs mentality but that doesn't mean they aren't focusing on better, more important aspects of the game(the fighting engine).
Looks far better than Tekken

Misogyny has no place in the modern world, and it's continued existence is depressing.
As for gimmicky, I assume you're referring to all the interaction with levels that you can turn off if you want?
Name a fighting sequel you couldn't say that about
You can find videos that detail the changes to this game if you like.
I've heard the same .5 statements said about every fighting franchise

I'm getting it. And it's totally because of how cool and flashy it is. :P
To me they made each DOA to simply land on a new console each time, which would probably explain why so much of it just seemed cosmetic. More time was spent just producing something different on new hardware.
This will be the first real time they've had two games from this franchise land in one console generation. This probably explains why they're more focused on game play than anything else this time.
People say they prefer something like DOA2, and that seems pretty standard as well. No one seems to like the new SF games in comparison to the much older Third Strike and so on.
I also have friends who mod their Smash Brothers all the time to go back to a more competitive style of game play (Project M).
Seems to be a problem nowadays of trying to make money and appeal to casuals more
